There is a fine line between the both, and I waiver from loving, to hating at the drop of a hat. There are a few things/people I love unconditionally, I don’t “hate” many people, I just have a severe disliking for asshat, backstabbers, people who fabricate and spew crap and general, all round, social climbing, stuck-up, holier than thou morons (anddddd quite a few males >.>).

This is a rant post, with a fashion twist, so if you don’t like rants, switch off now!

I decided that I really liked this outfit:

I thought I looked all whimsical and romantic, like I was happily in SLove, without a care in the world, running through open fields with cute puppies and kittens by my side…. then I sat there and thought what the HELL are you doing lady?! I’m having one of “those” times in SL right now, I have my friends, I have my inventory, I have my SLHealth, I don’t have an SL man and do I want one? I thought I did! I honestly thought wow, they aren’t *all* bad, sooo I consider letting the old guard down and then I am bought back to SLearth with a great big bump!

One thing I found in SL and RL is that I can now differentiate between the two, they are me in both respects, but I am very happy with my RL and don’t need any interference then tyvm, SL, is a different kettle of fish, I find it VERY hard to trust in SL, mainly because i’ve been jacked over by people that many times, i’ve lost count, I am starting to think*I* must be the bad egg, as I attract so many of them! People just cannot just wait and “go slow” with you, clearly it’s a case of blue balls, so my dear sissles says… or they can’t wait to see you stumble in SL and then totally bitch you out to all and sundry and that’s very disheartening, when you’re a complete softy, who is willing to trust even the most heinous of people, and try and see the good in them, it makes you feel like a great big twonk, and i’m sick of feeling twonky.

So I decided to get all RAWR and wear this outfit:

So back to good old angelic love the world Willis.

Doesn’t she look all dreamy and adoring? This is most likely the former Willis, that was born in ’04, wide eyed and agog at this new world she’d found, making friends, generally partying and creating havoc with the close friends she’d made almost instantly (except she looked *slightly* more manly >.>).

I fell in love with SL soooo quickly, I loved that I could be me, but better dressed, and make friends from all over the world, and play barbies and OH THE JOY… shopping that cost less than RL (did back in the day, you know!). Of course this ensemble isn’t from ’04, most of my ’04 stuff is packed away in the depths of hell. But this is what I imagine I would look like in SL heaven, all light and floaty and showering love and huggles on everyone.

Then I come back down to earth with a bump.

I have the most AWESOME friends in SL that anyone could ask for, but i’m wary of new people, and hell, even wary of some older people I know, that seem to tell me one thing like “oooooh, I want to be with you, I have done forever!” or “oooh i’d never say stuff like that about you =o, you really think I would?” then BAM.. next day they have a new pick with a GF in it and you think WHAT THE HOLY HELL? did I sleep for two weeks? do I suck THAT much? or I get some kinda heads up about stuff being said about me and after being made to feel guilty of even thinking said person would do that and then.. I get stabbity.

Honestly? I take it all with a pinch of salt, whatever will be, will be, I’ve been effed over royally in the past, by friends and SLationships both, doesn’t mean I won’t give them a chance again, it just makes me more aware that i’m likely to get hurt, and that… I do not need. That, dear people, is that makes me crankiest. Thinking that I can trust people and then them turning around and testing my loyalty, patience and most of all abusing my trust, and then I feel like dressing like this. Dark, dingy and just about ready to create mayhem, in the worst way.

I think SL and RL is about give and take, but how are you supposed to feel when sometimes, with some you feel that you just give, give, give and they take, take, take (usually the piss!)? It makes you dislike SL to some extent, but you get up, dust yourself off and mute the bastards til they realise what cockwits they are , or you do what I do, turn off the PC, dust off the TV and watch a few good rom-coms, stabbity horrors, or re-reuns of Maury.

This really was just a general rant, bought to you by the good old feeling of love and hate in and around SL, largely due to a bit of man hating going down. But see! Willis has a softer, and a harder side. The latter doesn’t tend to come out a lot, but the softer side sure can whinge for England, and I do genuinely hurt, like everyone else.. I R NOT MACHINE!

Manic Monday.

And that’s what it is, Manic! I still have both kiddles at home, both driving me insane, so I got me some SL therapy while little one plays with monkeys and big one plays on pogo! BEFORE I FORGET. This is a reference for Kitty.

So.. what did I decide to don today? I was in a RAWR.. I R REBEL kinda mood, and last night I took me a recon trip to Bare Rose and OMG I love that place. It’s an old and favourite haunt of mine.

A lot of people think… pah… BR? That’s cheap, it’s bound to be crapola, but it sooooo isn’t! You can find a whole range of scrumptiousness there, from Fantasty to Casual, Tokyo Style to BDSM (I avoided that bit, do NOT listen to Arbel/Kitty about any nipple pegs… IGNORE IT!), it’s a place where your Lindens, and your style can go for miles.

So today… I wear the I Love Myself outfit, that I picked up and fell in love with. I love the fact there are so many options with BR Clothing, you usually get a ton of colour choices, different prim bits and bobs and generally a whole folder of goodies for a very reasonable price. This set came with things I am not wearing, like a prim necklace, socks etc.

The armwarmers are probably my fav bit, I already own them, but I love the ruffles on the optional prim attachments for these, both top and bottom of the arms. I also love the graphics on the shirt and the fact that the cute lil booty shorts come with the shiny, fishnet type stockings on the same layer, I do love layered looks lately.

I gave in and purchased the Abyss boots, FINALLY, after attempting to get them for weeks, and after Arbel got me very lost and took us the wrong way! I must say I love them, for dominatrix looking boots, they work very well casually

The hair is new, it’s one of today’s releases from ETD, and probably one of my new favs, it’s a really cute updo, with choppy bangs, it’s reminiscent of how I wear my hair in RL, along with Trina, with a kinda tucked in, folded bun/ponytail jobby at the back. This time I chose Smoke Burnt, which is one of the best darker textures I think I own!

The choker is from a store i’d never heard of, but someone kindly dropped me a few things and they are so cute!! Very simple, yet detailed and intricate too, not too prim heavy – which in my opinion is a total bonus!

Now I must go, and sort out either my pose stand or my inventory, they are both in a total mess AND I have a RL dentist appt for demon child #1 later… OH THE WOES. Go to BR and buy it all, kthxbai.

Ok, it’s not that sombre, but I am tired (plz sue me if you don’t like it ) as Sian is teeting and ill and raaaaaawr! So i’ve been trying to get this post done since Thursday PM!

This is what i’ve been wearing for the last few days, I’ve decided that if I am going to blog, it’s going to be in a “WTF *IS* Willis Wearing?” way, like my old blog. I love blogging new goodies too, but i’m on a tight budget now, being on maternity leave and not having an SLJob at the mo, so i’m making the most of my huge assed inventory, so with a bit of encouragement and suggestions from Elikapikachu, I am going to try and survive without spending ooooodles, and recycle my old stuffs! So.. here goes!

I did actually dig out older hair and skins for this, but I slid them back into their hidey holes after I realised i’d probably get stabbed in the face, repeatedly. But.. I *DO* wear older hairs and skins, I love looking through my folders and seeing what i’ve got, things I used to love before *newer* things came out, in an inventory my size, you tend to overlook fab things, with an influx of newness, and that is what i’m going to try and avoid doing!

One of the skins I adored from the Charmed range, was this one. The Holiday ’06 skins, complete with Body Shimmer – SNOW!! My shape (as I may have said before *roll eyes*), has always been based around Starley’s skins since I bought the complete Passport Collection YEARS ago, then I modded it for Charmed, and then again for Vogue (Hell, even the pre passport days, but we won’t go there… yet ). The thing I loved about the Charmed skins, were the fact they were so versatile, there were that many make-ups you could go bare during the day, vixen at night, and fancy for that special “do” you might be attending.

The hair, has *always* been a fav since the day I got it, I don’t normally look *right* without bangs, but I just adore this hairstyle, Elika has pretty much made every take on every style ever, she’s a tough act to follow, and she just keeps exceeding herself, in my opinion, anyway. But Madeline has to be one of my all time favs, and definately a staple. It can be used if you are feeling casual, sexy, elegant or just if you want that fresh out of bed look! I normally go Blonde, but the Ash Burnt is one of my all time fav textures too!

I procrastinate sooooo much about wtf to wear, allllll the time! The thing I love about this top, from Winter Moon is that it’s simple and understated, yet it is semi-sheer, so you get that sexy appeal too. You can pair it with almost anything, from jeans to combats, mini skirts to boho skirts, again I would say this is a wardrobe staple, without a shadow of a doubt. I was feeling kinda “sombre” today, so I opted for pretty dark colours all around. The one thing I was “DOH” about, is the fact I wanted the bra AND the tank on, which meant my tattoo’s went bye bye.. I mean c’mon, you can make the skies all pretty and the interface all sterile (thx dazzle viewer) but you can’t implement a fecking tattoo layer? PLZ LL, GET A GRIP /rant.

The skirt is an old fav from Celestial Studios, now, I must admit, I am NOT a big skirt fan, really really not, I have way to much virtual junk in my virtual trunk, and I refuse to change my butt to wear a bloody skirt! But this one, is a pretty neat one! I found I could fit it with almost no faffing, and I didn’t break it! Which is a bonus (for me, it is, trust me). It comes in either Black, or Denim, but I found the Black was more fitting with the rest of this outfit. It’s a fun lil bum warmer, with ruffles and layers and prettyness!
