Love! Love! Love!

Roberta Beauchamp, or Berta! as she is better known to me, recently dropped a gift on me and oh em gee, it was so generous! I already owned a few bits and bobs from Love. Love. Love and Wax Poetic, so it was with great pleasure and thanks I accepted these too

To me, Love. Love. Love is the type of store that caters for the more demure, classier dressers… with high waisted skirts, gorgeous ribbon dresses and basically just a bunch of stuff that you won’t usually find in my inventory cos i’m a casual kinda gal, but I really enjoyed playing with these and trying them on.  You must excuse any partial nudity you see, I wanted to just show goodies from the store that i’d received, so yeah.. ignore the nips

First up we have the Denim Jumper, a collaboration with Redd Columbia, and a cute one it is.  It uses the systerm skirt with the shirt layer to give off a highwaisted look.  It has overall style straps, 6 cute shiny new buttons and a sculptie bow over your ass, what more screams class? .  I admit i’m not a huge fan of the system skirt, yes yes I KNOW it doesn’t have to make your ass look fat, but I just don’t dig system skirts as much as others, but this is really nice and something different than I’ve ever tried on before, so YAY!

The little Yellow number is actually Mustard and its a gorgeous highwaisted skirt seperate that you can buy!  A perfectly formed cocktail skirt with the mesh on the underside and available in 6 gorgeous colours.I particularly love this one for the way it dips at the front instead of just being a plain old horizontal cut skirt and I think paired with the right top would make an EXCELLENT wardrobe staple.

The first tee in this set is a fun lil thing that just says “I blogged Love.Love.Love and all I got was this lousy tee” and you know what? I LOVE IT, its fun <3.   The second top is the Abigail Cropped Jacket in Teal.  As you can see it’s a Houndstooth style and comes with scrunched up sculptie sleeves and is cropped just above the waist.  Now on a personal level this isn’t really my kinda thing, not in Teal anyway.  It also comes in Hunter, Mustard, Raspberry and Sky, so I will be popping by to see if I dig any of the other colours more, but as a jacket it’s great, no jagged edges and some cute shiney button detailing!

The final top in this picture is the Zebra Cami, also available in Tiger, Lynx, Leopard, Giraffe and Cheetah.  It’s a basic cute tank included on all layers for convienience and was apparently made on a whim   I love anything animal print, I don’t know why, I just do!  So this made me smile   Not a dodgy seam in sight, wrinkles in the right places and for a cami tank, it does the job just great

This final picture is my fav of the whole bunch, it’s the Bethy Dress, named after Bethany Heart.   It’s a strapless cocktail dress that SCREAMS sexy but not a hobag.  It has a tubestyle top to it, with a slightly poofed out prim long babydoll style skirt with the cutest sculptie bow attached to it, you can also twizzle the skirt around for the bow to be side, back, front or wherever you want!   Shown here in Mocha/Cream it also comes in Smoke/Crimson, Magenta/Crimson, Grape/Crimson and Pumpkin/Mocha.  The perfect party dress, I really like it!

As I mentioned the two skins shown here are 2 of the Wax Poetic Makeups:  Licorice Skin in Praline and Sugar Plum Skin in Truffle.  Prailine is the medium toned skin and Licorice is just dark eyeliner and the classic smokey style eye with shiney, fairly muted lips.    Truffle is the darker tone and Sugar Plum is a sexy duo of Plum and Lavender, perfect for the demure party girl that doesn’t like to look like shes made too much effort, but clearly has   The skins are based on Eloh’s Another Skin.
