You might wonder wtf i’m on about lol, but another 2 parter here… first part SKINS, second part SKINKIE! (Flirt).

Roberta Beauchamp of Wax Poetic just released her Halloween Skins, now they might not be everyones cup of tea and I only purchased one full skin although I almost bought the fatpack but I HAVE to stop spending so much, so I put on a brave face and bought the one I knew i’d wear again!   There are 9 skins, all at $L400 each or $L3000 for the fatpack.   There are four tones available and I have shown the third tone, so there are 2 lighter and 1 darker!

I’ll do them in waves of three:

Halloween Skins

From left to right we have Junglecat, Aquamini and Miss Kitty!  Miss Kitty is the full one I purchased as you can see the others have the DEMO stamp on their cheeks    I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Kitty one, although I am tempted to go back and get Junglecat.. hmmmmm.

Halloween Skins.. MORE!

Here you can see Candy Skull, Mrs Frankenstein and Dollface!   I am also tempted to go back and get Candy Skull, I freakin’ LOVE IT, but it’s not really a skin i’d wear past Halloween unless I wanted to take pics and I MUST NOT shove things in my inventory like candy into my fat face, NO!   I think Dollface is really pretty too, in a Doll way

Halloween Skins... AGAIN

Finally we have Robotronic, Undead and Apollo.   Robotronic is very interesting, it’d be nice to see a full skin like this and Undead was super tempting, but I have a couple skins like this already and Apollo is GOIGEOUS, but i’m not sure where i’d wear it   Damn I need infinite bloody lindens! GRRRR.

All the skins are based on Eloh’s Another Skin Mods and have an awesomely shaded body that I totally forgot to snap but hey, there are demos, so you should go see!

Tiffany is a GORGEOUS set, the detail in it is AMAZING and I don’t think i’ve ever in my whole Slife seen such a gorgeous Diamond texture as this, honestly.   I love the colour of the Ruby it’s very precise and clear as crystal, they really do look genuine (as genuine as pixels/prims get ).   I might actually go and purchase the necklace in Diamond, infact I might purchase ALL the necklaces available.  There is also NO bling in these babies, isn’t that great    Overall I think all I can say about these are OMFG GORGEOUS! SRSLY!

FRAGILE!

Now, I have to admit, FRAGILE! wouldn’t be my thing to purchase, it’s lovely… yes, it’s perfectly crafted… yes!  It’s Willis? No.   It’s far more modern than i’d go for in either life, but that doesn’t mean it’s not great.. it might match YOU perfectly!  They are a bit dramatic, but the idea behind the pieces are genius.. taken from the Flirt blog: FRAGILE! represents our innermost self and how we choose to display it to the outside world. Oftentimes our core is tender, easily broken, sensitive. We choose either to display this and risk damage, or to protect it, sheathing it from harm, but also covering it’s reflective beauty.

Another two costumes from Torridwear, Kari, Lemon, Celestial Studios and ZF!   Before I start I must point out that the skin worn in the pics is the skin from Bootleg Annie (no new skins in these packs *tear*) and the shape is my own… OH and the hair is from ZF but isn’t included in the packs (the hair in the ad’s on Tor’s blog here isn’t available as of yet).

Fantasy Football

Fantasy Football comes in four colours but only shown here in my fav.. YELLOW!   The Costume includes 1 jersey tee-shirt dress with sculptie sleeves, 1 set of grid iron face paint (prims), 2 sets of knee highs-1 with prim leg-warmers and 1 without, 1 pair of custom colored Kari kicks and 1 color coordinated football with hold animation.   You can get a fatpack with all four included and apparently the hair in the ad’s on the creator’s blogs is coming soon, as is the shape!

For The Boys

For The Boys is the second costume!   With this GI type baby you get 1 shirtdress with a one hot pink bow, Prim medal attachment, 1 sculptie garrison cap & bow, 1 set of silky seamed thigh high stockings and 1 pair of TCKLZ pump in hot saucy pink!   A nice set for any occasion involving costumes, nothing bloody or “I had my head ripped off” with these 2 costumes!

As I said above (repeated incase you forgot and can’t use scroll ), these are available at the above noted outlets and hair/shapes will be out there SOON!

Now for the second part of the blog… HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIR and not just ANY hair.. NEW ETD HAIR *dies and faints and dies and faints* (can you die AND faint? I DID!)

YESH! You heard, Elika is BACK.  After a long (and well deserved) Hiatus she’s back on board in SL creating new hairs!   I, for one am ECSTATIC about this, we know that ETD is like my all time fav hair EVAH so it will come as no surprise i’m rather SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE about it!

Tiana

This is Tiana, isn’t she purdy?   A bouffant type bun thinger at the back complete with loose strands (who DOESN’T have loose strands in RL with a do like this? I do!) and lovely face framing bangs, perfect hair for a more dressy occasion, but would work as a casual style too, me thinks!

Yvette

Meet Yvette, Tiana’s release sister!   I love the use of the curvy type prims on these, I love those on hair, I think they look awesome (not the ones that look like bacon, kkthx).   Yvette is another style that could be used for either a classy or casual occasion, sort of an updo, but not quite.   A pony tucked into a neat and teeny lil bun-ish… thing.   My words amaze you, no? I’m tired SHOOSH.

I think my fav of the release is Yvette, and I am SO looking forward to MORE MORE MORE from Elika as she settles back into the swing of things!

Just a quickie to keep in with the theme of this month.. HALLOWEEN!

This is a freebie from Dernier Cri. Yes, I already have a Bee’s in my inventory from past costumes, but come on, it’s SL, how many “unique” costumes are out there? They don’t stay unique for long that’s for sure!

It’s a cute lil costume, and for a freebie I don’t think you can complain! It comes with the jacket and pants layer, all nicely yellow/black striped, the stripey leggings and some accessories! The accessories include a kinda frilly attachment for the top (around the bust) and two for the top of the leggings, and a lil frill for around the butt, kinda like a skirt, but not… (I make sense in my head, honest).. but you do get the option of a skirt also!

You also get the wing,s and some antennae! All in all it’s a freeb, i like it, so shoosh.

Also seen in this picture is some new hair from Pixel Dust! It’s called Berry and it’s the cutest hair i’ve seen in a while. It’s a braided style with one braid over your shoulder, the other behind, and it’s got that cut pulled back on top of your head fringe quiff thing going on, that I never seem able to pull of but try to regardless

Autumn has one of my fav blonde textures, it’s not too green, not too bright and I love it! It’s going out on the shelves AS WE SPEAK, so make sure you check it out, it’s not free and it’s not halloween but it IS fabulous!

Also worn is skin from Celestial Studios and as we all know there is a HUGE range to choose from, so if you don’t own a skin from there (you most likely do!) then I insist you go and try on the demo’s, RIGHT NOW and also check out the new Halloween release that I blogged a few days back cos that’s got awesome NEW skin in it

Oh GOD I suck at Pirate speak, but OH WELL, I still look OSSM as a Pirate

YES! YES YES YES YES YES YES! The first collab between Haver, Menno, Torrid, Starley and Zyrra is OUT!  I know a lot of people have been itching to get their hands on this baby, and I can see why!   Bootleg Annie is a lovely piece of work and apparently just the first in the works, you know they are all going to have a deformed claw hand by Halloween but do you care? I KNOW I DON’T! (I do really, (cozy))

Firstly I’ll list off what this comes with if you buy the whole set and it’s a LONG assed list:

The AO is awesome, you get 5 standing poses, a walk (hand on hip) and an neat piratey style sit! All of which are exclusive to Bootleg Annie! I will be wearing this and adding these to my normal AO, just you watch me!!!

The Skins are BRAND NEW from Starley and I love them! When don’t I love CS Skins? But seriously, I know there was a time limit on getting stuff done for these AV’s and I personally think Starley did great with the skins, they are nicely shaded with minimal lip make-up, but dark eyes (would you have time to apply perfect makeup as a pirate? I THINK NOT!). What I love about this is you get 4 skins, 2 light and 2 tan, one with and one without scar, I personally love the scar one, maybe cos i’m so violent? Iunno, I just do! Starley also threw some lashes in.

NAKED PICTURE WARNING ALERT ALERT BOOBS AND ASS

The Hat/Hair from Zyrra is rockin, it comes in Black, Blonde, Brown and Red, the four base natural colours and no, you can’t get the hat without the hair, but i’m sure you could mod it if you really wanted and had the patience. It has the piratey type braid bead thingers that you see on pirates annnnd the four colours in the pack are new/exclusive, but 40 others are available separately!

Now there are oodles of options for the outfit, do you want pants? do you want a skirt? do you want a belt? do you want tails on your belt, or a scarf? or both? do you want stockings with your skirt? torn or not? *EXPLODEY HEAD*

I *love* the pants, they have lil patch cross-stitch detailing, and a really suedey type look to them, but the skirt is also awesome, it also looks kinda suedey with a fishnet twist. You get options with the skirt, you can have it with tails/belt etc, so you can really get a ton of diff looks out of this one, and even mix and match with other outfits if you like, although the skirt does come with a rum bottle and jail keys… OH and a lil rolled up map and a telescope eye thinger ma jig on the rear (woot)!  You get options of torn stockings or not, garters on the glitch pants.. the options ARE endless, but not for a while

The Jacket is also wearable with other outfits I think, if you want! It comes with a glove layer and prim bits and bobs too, very nicely done and a lovely shade of brown that matches the boots perfectly. Yes Boots! The boots have a resize script too, so you don’t have to faff around and break them, which is ALWAYS a bonus in my eyes.

There is a shape included from Lemon that you can see below, I don’t tend to wear shapes that come with av’s I like my own, but it’s very nice and everything fits PERFECTLY on it Also included is a hair/eyebrow shape base thing

I think i’ve rambled enough, but I don’t think i’ve done the outfit justice, I believe if you like pirates, you’ll probably like this, go and check it out!

Before I start this post, I must point out I stole the vendor pics, because I did buy the stuffs but OMG trying to pose and not look like a tool was just too much for me, and I wouldn’t have done them justice!

Isn’t it AWESOME?  I love it!    Not only is it an AV you can also buy it as a low or high prim static version for decoration, and you can buy the pumpkin heads separatetly too!   It’s a halloween FEAST of scarecrow..ness?  I don’t care how often i’ll wear this, I needed it, THE END.

This is the Candy Tiny AV and OMG it’s so freaky!!  Noam was terrorising me and Autumn (or just me -.-) last night with it, as seen in the snapshot below:

This is also available as a static decoration, along with a similar pumpkin style and even two lil tiny shoulder buddies!  As much as the lil thing freaks me out, its pretty darned neat, it also comes with sounds and well, i’ll let you hear them in world cos HAHAHA you so should.

My 3rd Halloween post, are you bored yet? Probably but I have a face on me that does not care *foldy arms*.   I am dedicating this month (mostly) to Halloween, cos i’m teh lazy and in a bit of a funk with stuffs at the moment.

Today I bring you FREE Halloween goodies from Nomine, I say free, they were the group gift (It’s SoM, go join!).   You got skins, clothing and jewellery, but I only snapped the skins, sorry about that… >.>

There are three Girls and three Boys skins, again I only snapped the girls (what? Don’t use that face, I said I was teh lazies, pfft)… they are three definately pure Halloween skins, mind you I say that and someone might actually want to walk around the grid in these all the time, which is also fine!

They are the Nomine Plague Skins – Infected, Scabby, Veiny.  Sound like some kind of funky dwarf combination, but nope, just some fabbbbberroo skins! So let’s get this going, eh?

First up is Infected.   I’m not entirely sure what i’m infected with whilst wearing this skin, i’m guessing something that makes you a lil smudged looking.. I dunno what it is but I like it.   I think this skin is actually really cute and you could totally get away with wearing it if you wanted to pretend you were fixing a motorbike or something, srsly!   I think the Plague skins have really sweet faces, and I love the lips.. on all of them!  So yes, this one is Infected:

Next up is Scabby… it’s a lil *barf* isn’t it.. not in a bad way! You just look at it and think ommmmgg whats wrong with meeeee, but it’s a good skin and I think Munch has done a frickin’ awesome job at freaing us out with these kinds of skins, really awesome.   Scabby is well.. scabby with raw wounds and pus and omg all sorts of gross shit, man.

Finally meet Veiny.. Veiny is very veiny *nod*.   This skin doesn’t gross me out as much as scabby but it still made me look twice.   I really love the vein detail on this one, so fresh and bloody!  I guess some people will argue that veins don’t look like this but I think those ppl should SHOOSH and enjoy the Halloween yumminess that Munch has given us for FREE!… I kinda wanna wear veiny ALL the time and get that exploding head thing out from like ’05 and just scream obscenities at ppl ALL.THE.TIME.

So there we have it, the free skins from Nomine to celebrate Helloween! (Thats what Munch called it!).   I totally love these skins, they are different sure but they are fun, and god knows fun is needed, right? Right.

Yes, HYOOOOGE!

This isn’t even all of it, as it’s all not released yet, but these are just some of the outfits you can get from DDD for Halloween and I have it on good authority that there are MORE in the works.

I figured there will be a ton of Halloween products out in the upcoming month, so you will most likely see a helluva lot of ones blogged here, I doooo love to collect outfits! There’s a collaboration in the works i’m *EXTREMELY* excited to see!

Every year I collect most Halloween outfits there are… and with these there are so many options!  I admit I didn’t spend a bunch of time on the pictures, because first off I took them lo-rez, then I took them the wrong size and by the third attempt I was ready to stab someone in the face, so it’s a quick collage, but below it you’ll find a mini breakdown on each outfit!

Firstly we have The Angel… and oh what an angel she is!  This heavenly outfit comes with long sleeved or short sleeved options, both with prim sleeves, long or short skirt options, an optional harp, a halo, glowly wings and golden prim pumps, along with the various clothing layers you get (all on each too!)

Next is The Witch… your standard old hag complete with crooky hat, vicious broom (you know she’d beat you with it!), sexy spooky pumps, fishnets, prim sleeves and the outfit, again with various options and layers, so if you want to go for a classic halloween look, The Witch might be your cup of tea.

The Devil is next, and look how hot hot HOT she is! For those that love red, latex and a look that could burn the heart of the Devil himself… this might be for you!   It comes with 2 styles of corset, half or full (I opted for the reasonably PG option ), stockings in fishnet or opaque, some gorgeous red boots complete with lil prim tails on the heels, devils tail, pitch-fork, horns and a bow tie!   The options are endless (well ok they end sometime).

There are two nurses, the one on the left in the pic is The Bloody Nurse, the one on the right is The Sexy Nurse.  They both come with oodles of options and optional props, but the Bloody is probably my fav with a bloody hacksaw!!!   The clothes and boots are bloodstained, and even the facemask!   The Sexy Nurse comes minus the hacksaw but with a syringe in it’s place, both come with hat, stethascope and more, do you want both? I know I would!

Finally in today’s post is The Fallen Angel, the dark piece of gorgeousness you can see in the middle on the bottom row.   This Angel has been through the mill and come out the other side… tainted     The set again comes with a billionty and four options, the Boots are probably my fav with the CUTEST (or is that deadliest?) broken halos!   The scythe is a great touch, along with the straps that are also optional.  The clothing layers have 2 choices of with or sans straps, so if you’re not into the whole “bondaged” look, you still have options!

So basically, for now… THAT’S IT!   Like I said more coming.. thick and fast, just the way I like it (har har)!

Every year in SL the grid gets chock-a-block full of Halloween goodies, may it be special coloured hair, special themed make-up, a full Halloween av or just awesome Halloween themed accessories such as pumpkins, lights, cauldrons and SO much more.    Halloween is a time of year I *love* to keep an eye on, seeing who comes up with what and buying up all the things I can!

There are already goodies circulating the grid and this will probably be one of many Halloween themed posts, so I hope you all buckle up and enjoy the holiday with me (you better or i’ll come chop your head off… or something)

The first item I will be blogging about is “The Witch” from Pixel Dust!    I recently started to get to know Autumn (Hykova) better thanks to Plurk, we already kinda sorta knew each other, but both being the shy (hahahahaha) people we found it much easier to stalk each other on Plurk! YAY FOR PLURK! (if you don’t already have one, let me send you an email invite cos like.. I need to get my own exclusive emoticons instead of stealing them >.>).

Pixel Dust is a store that sells hair usually, and a sprinkling of clothing and now this Witch AV!  I’ve seen how hard Autumn toiled over this, perfecting it and getting it how she wanted it, and I think it totally paid off!   The AV comes with oodles of bits, most of which you can see here!  Without doing a full break down amongst things you get are a sculpty broom, sculpty hair + hat (in lottsa colours!), the full outfit including prim skirt, prim eyelashes that Autumn made especially, eyes and an awesome green skin with ruby red lips which was made using the awesome base provided in PSD form and available for download by Sezmra (see here for more) annnnnd a shape that you can, or don’t have to use!

There are many and will be many more av’s available grid wide soon, but the Witch AV is well made, well thought out, lovingly crafted (am I making you barf yet? ) and is as cheap as chips at under $L500!   I’ve seen far more expensive AV’s already that have issues (let’s not discuss that, eh?)  So get on over to Pixel Dust and see what there is on offer!

No wait, this isn’t a Smashing Pumpkin’s review it’s just an awesome new set from Luth over at Reel Expresion!

Anyone that knows me, knows that my pose stand was recently bursting at the seams with over 1200 poses, I now have several pose stands sorted by creator, and my Luth one now has new, fantastic poses!

I have wanted this set for a while, but don’t like to poke, but when Luth said she was working on it I was sooooooooooo happy!!  It might sound a bit tragic, but sometimes for some pictures you just need a pose that reflects your mood, so if you’re feeling a lil reflective or even a lil down, or hell… even if you just want that perfect pose for your perfect picture, this set might just be for you, you don’t *have* to be Melancholy to pop one of these babies in a picture, oh no!

I tried to take my own pics and I didn’t take full pics of each, but I can assure you all the poses have legs! Honest!  I think the pictures will do most of the talking, as they are, after all poses and not made of textures, they are just made of OSSM! So without further ado.. some pickchurs:

So there you have them, the Melancholy poses!  Aren’t they lovely, they aren’t all emo and forlorn, they are poses that you can use to look like you’re thinking, or the poses work just as fab for just normal everyday fashion poses, so it’s a bit of a great set to own, really!  I love the use of the head in hands on a few of them also!

There really isn’t much more to say than I think you should go buy them, Luth is an ossm person, makes ossm stuff and I <3 her for making these, I can now try and do the picture i’ve had in my head for some time, I hope!
