(This post was written earlier in the week and published just now, sorry for the delay, I suck and have been waiting on something I didn’t need )

So, I didn’t expect to get anything on my birthday, and I got a lot of awesome gifts from various people, but one REALLY touched my heart.  My bestest friend Arbers made me something that not only touched the warmest depths of my heart, it fuckin’ rocks too!!!

It’s the hoodie jacket i’m wearing in the below picture, she made it!! JUST FOR ME!!!!   Not only is it sexy, excellenty made (I am SO loving Arbers and her embracing scuplties!) it has the lyrics to one of my most fav songs in the WORLD on it. SEX ON FIRE!

I don’t really have an awful lot to say about it, other than I love it, it will be one of my most cherished inventory items and if SL eats it, man am I going to be PISSY, ohhhh soooo pisssy.

Arbers, I love you, I love the present and I love that we are friends because neither of my lives would be the same without you in them <3.

It’s the new black, didn’t you know?  This post is going to be about random things, randomly, in a very hamfisted manner.  Enjoy

I have been tryin to get this post done for a while but with not logging in all that much and the lure of LOTRO and RL i’ve been lacking and I apologise!   I’ll do my best to do these bits justice

First up we have some bits and bobs from Flirt!  I love Flirt although i’m not a huge jewellery fan, so I never tend to visit those kinds of shops, but I do think a shopping trip is in order!   On the left you can see an upclose shot of the ring from the Bloom Series, this is a wondeful series with clickable gem/metal change and some really fancy prim work, I love when you can change bits and pieces on things with just a click, it makes life so much easier, doesn’t it??   This is the Turquoise Bloom Ring with added Turquoise Gems and the Silver Metal setting,  I think it looks adorable!   On the left in the picture you can see me wearing the choker from the Esprit de Neige Collection.  I absolutely love this Choker, it comes with 2 options, glow and non glow and with 2 body attachment places too, so no more fiddling about effing it all up.  The Glow one would have probably had a better effect at night, but nevermind, I can assure you it’s fabulous and it’s an option so if you don’t like it, pop the non glow on!   It’s an adorable mesh of snowflake type prims and exquisite workmanship and I for one am happy I have a copy!

Onto more primmy things now, we have some stuffage from Genesis!

Ryker seems to have taken to prims wonderfully and has produced some stunning pieces over the last few months, these are a couple of her Holiday offerings to us all.   On the left we have two necklaces, the Fly Angel, Fly necklace and Sprig of Joy… you can clearly see why! One is an adorable Angel the other is a Holly Sprig… how gorgeous are they?   They also aren’t too primtastical as the neck”chains” as you could call them aren’t tiny links, they are the more primeasy solider types.   On the right you can see the Snowlight Silk and Jewellery set.  It’s stunning, I think that’s all I can say, I particuarly *love* the headpiece, I had a bit of mare tryin to mod the skirt prim bit to fit my child bearing hips, but I managed in the end, although i’m convinced from the back it’s probably not right, but you can only see the front in this pic so that’s good!   The set comes with various pieces including wings that you can’t see here cos I kindly put myself on a white background LOL.  Overall Ryker’s done a great job and these are just a few of the things you can get for Christmas, there is a really neat 1 prim snowglobe with SUCH fantastic detailing (it’s temp rez.. or something), so get on over to Genesis and check THOSE out!

Finally in the pictures above you would have noticed some new hair from Philotic Energy, Grazia which is a sultry sort of updo, bloody fantastic one at that and Autumn a sorta kinda mullety mohawky 80′s job that was an absolute pleasure to wear considering I don’t normally do “out there” hair!   Well done Aems for being such a whizz with the prims and making us some awesomeness!  The hair you can see in the Snowlight Set is Soliel I from Pixel Dust, Autumn is another fantastic hairmaker and I hope to see more soon when the new Sim is finished

So, the delectable Kitty started a new meme-ish-thinger over on her blog that I said i’d do, so here I am!  Basically the rules are that you choose 5 things you always wear, 5 things you used to wear, and 5 things you never wear.  I think it’s a fun and quirky idea but you will have to forgive me if i’ve miscounted, because does an outfit with 5 parts count as your 5?  I wasn’t sure, so I might have less/more, but i’m sure you’ll all live.

First up we have the 5 I always wear.  It’s pretty much guaranteed if you see me in world there is a high percentage i’ll be wearing one of these (at least once a week, anyway)

We have on the left my wardrobe staple jeans, the Celestial Studios Destroyed Wash!   I heart these jeans with ALL my being, they come in so many washes with various prim leg options as well as the regular no prim option!   I particularly loved the destroyed look.   Paired with them are the ETD Buckle Flats, my most fav flats in the whole world EVER and a pair of shoes I would gladly be buried with and topped off with the awesome Scum top from Winter Moon, it’s part of a set but I love to wear it with jeans to add that touch of not-so-classy to myself, you can see my nipples you know!

On the right we have one of my most fav tops ever, the Canimal Mmm Lemon top!  LEMONS FTW!   If this top ever goes missing from my inventory, I might have to go just a teensy bit mental!    They are paired with another jean staple, the Kari/TW New School Jeans, another awesome pair shown here in black but also available in blue, they also come with various prim options!

Next we have my 5 used to wear (I still do, but I used to live in them!)

On the far left is the ETD Alluring Halter set.  When this came first out I think I wore it for like.. a month!  In all the colours.  I still love it to bits, it’s one of the most gorgeous and versitile/mixmatchable sets i’ve seen and the workmanship is fabulous considering it was one of Elika’s first creations!

In the middle is the Slinky Leopard Top from Mistress Midnight, who remembers when Midnight City was THE place to be, or when the Midnight girls were in Umber? I DO!  Man, I miss Umber, I still heart my Dork outfit from Torridwear like whoa!

Finally on the right we have a dress from Canimal – Toxicity!  I’m not a huge dress wearer but this was one of my fav’s  with it’s kick ass skullage but cute frilly bows, who wouldn’t want to wear this dress to death? I know I did!!

Now to top it all off we have the 5 never wears, this is where my counting took a nosedive and srsly, there are like a billionty things I never wear, so how could I narrow it down?? I just opted for 2 outfits (both with at least 4 pieces to each) that I never wear, and honestly, I don’t think i’ve ever worn til now except for the “huh, well what?” moment when I bought them!

So uh… yeah! Uhhmm, on the left we have the HB Sketch Gown.  Now, I do actually love this gown, I think it’s an awesome idea for a dress, I mean look at it.. it looks like it’s sketched! It came with the cape thinger, shoulder wotsit, headress and shoes, as well as the clothes and it wasn’t *overly* expensive, all I know is that I saw it and I wanted it, so I got it… never worn it til now tho, oopsy.

On the right we have Magdelena from Nomine, Nomine was THE place to shop in like 2004/2005 for EVERYONE, with my pasty white custom skin I prowled SL in not an awful lot, so i’m quite sad i’ve probably never worn this, but I loved it when I saw it!  It’s vines making me slbleed, roses on my butt and covering my hooha, who wouldn’t want it?  The only thing that confuses me is that the bottom bits are shoes.. i didn’t leave shoes on by mistake, and that is like huh, well wtf?   But nevermind about that.  I should find reasons to wear these, shouldn’t I?

You heard me! *growls*.  This is just a LOTD type post as usual, I do have reviewy things lined up but I haven’t really logged in SL that much over the last few days, but I plan to start trying as soon as I stop spending most of my life in my bathroom (TMI… sorry! ).

This look kinda reflects my mood at the moment, RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWR.  I dunno why i’m feeling so RAWR-ish, but I am.   I am feeling MOST unfriendly and hostile, which isn’t like me at ALL, i’m so fun loving and bubbly ALL THE TIME /sarcasm.   No srsly, I think i’m just tired and cranky and i’m at a point with SL at the moment where I feel that I should bother, but I don’t really want to, it’s not the same as it used to be, I don’t have as much fun as I used to and well.. other stuff I won’t get into here.. or probably ever (no questions!).

It’s just something I threw together but I loved it all together, it’s from a handful of different places including some bigger, some smaller designers… some new, some old.    I won’t talk about the outfit in huge detail, because I just thought the look was that striking it probably talks about itself, plus i’m a lazy arse and want to go to bed.   Overall I just think the cute short jacket paired with the pants and boots is a winner, and of course I had to shove a top under there and a bra just fitted the look better than a tank… the hair is one of my all time FAV’S from Kin, the only bugger about it is the fact it ballses up lashes, but hey… you can live without lashes when you’re this stabbity, right? DAMN STRAIGHT YOU CAN!

So there you have it, lame post I know, but I *will* be back on form soon (I really really hope!) and like I said I have a couple posts lined up that I need to put the finishing touches on, i’ll do that ASAP!  Apologies for lack of SLURLS, please feel free to sue me

Ok sorry about that… just a quick post about boots! BOOTS!   Everyone knows I hate shoes in SL (and in RL) and usually stick to barefoot or trainers, but there were a couple releases I really loved, so I thought i’d like to blog them!

The first ones we have are from Refuge. Yup this is the big project Trinitee has been working on and it looks like it’s paid off!   There were two sets of boots released yesterday: Equinox and Paradox.   Both are what i’d class as “clunky” boots, with the big wedge sole and heel, boots that perhaps didn’t suit the outfit I wore but OH WELL, I don’t claim to be fashion savvy (and I couldn’t be arsed, in all honesty).   Equinox come in three colours, shown here in Black and are just a really basic style boot with a buckle whereas Paradox are much more intricately scripted.  Paradox comes with socks that kinda stirrup the boot base and they change texture on click, you can choose from solids, stripes and dots!  I did notice that one of the prims on mine wasn’t changing on click, I dunno if that was me or it’s an issue with the boot, either way I poked Trin in the privates and told her.  I love the idea of these boots, and the execution of the prims is fabulous!  Well done you!

The second pair are from Truth.   I saw these boots and immediately fell in love, you can say what you want about the guy but he has sculpties down to a fine art!   These are ADORABLE!!!! These look like a pair i’d wear in RL, so I just had to own them in SL!  They come in a handful of colours, I opted for Tobacco.  They look to me like they are supposed to look kinda folded over (I could be very wrong) and they come with lil buckled button bits that just add to the adorableness (yes it’s a word, I said so).   If you are a fan boot in SL, I think you need to own these!  Beautfilly shaped, excellently built and textured like a pro! Gratz on the ossm boots!

It’s not going to be a long post with many words.. but it’s a post, shoosh.  I AM BUSY AND HAVE AN ILL CHILD, kkthx.

So there is a blogger challenge going on, where you have to appreciate Barerose, well who doesn’t, eh?   So here is one of my fav outfits…  I don’t wear it often but I do love it none-the-less! I just threw it on when I bought it and loved it instantly. It isn’t the type of outfit i’d really class as “me” but then if you’re in SL and can’t move to other looks, you need to seek out someone to help you! It’s what SL is all about! (not that i’m dissing you if you only have one look, but it’s FUN to play barbies, innit?)

This one is called Lost Kittens and it’s so darn tootin’ kyoot! Even if you don’t dig the clothes, it’s SO worth the money for the prim bag on it’s own or the jumper around your waist that comes in various colours!

The one thing I love about Barerose is that it’s so damn affordable and such good quality for the price, I see things in other stores priced FAR FAR higher than anything at Barerose and the quality doesn’t compare one bit.   Barerose also has sections for all walks of Slife from bondage to barbie, cute to killer… it has it all and I am pretty sure you could TP there and find at least ONE thing you would like, not only that it has a fabulous website with a search engine! YES! SEARCH CLOTHES ONLINE, that made me fall in love even more

So there you have it, my quick and quite lame post in comparison to others but it’s a pose either way
