‘Tis the Season to be JOLLLLLLLLLLY!

Whut? It is!

I haven’t been very Jolly recently, infact i’ve been downright bitter (I like Lemons, shup) about a few things, but I’ve decided that it is THE season for good will and that’s what I will try an do!

I’ve been feeling particularly blah that I kinda wanna sorta get back into blogging reviewing, but I can’t really afford to purchase things like I used to be able to (yeah! I’ve become money conscious, how the hell did THAT happen?) and I see SOOOO many things on the feed, where people have gotten review copies, took a picture… just said “hey here is XYZ, go and get it!” and that’s IT!!!   I wish I could ask for review copies without feeling like a total douche, but the fact of the matter is i’ve prided myself on NOT asking and anyone that knows me knows that I am more than happy to pay for anything that I own… but I didn’t realise how hard that was when you can’t just buy lindens willy nilly!

So anyway, what was I bitter about?  I think I was/am bitter that everyone is a blogger now, it seems the norm to join SL, buy hooker heels, get a makeover, get a blog and get some freebies.. VOILA.. BLOGGER! (that is not aimed at EVERY blogger btw, I really admire some of you guys <3)  I feel that I was once one of the very few bloggers around and now i’m buried under a pile of clambering fame hungry girls that would rip my eyes out quicker than look at me, I guess it’s made me feel useless *sigh*.. that’s why I get so blah about it, I feel that i’m a hasbeen, I know that isn’t quite true, but shut up, i’m having an emo! SHOOOSH!

I debated putting my blog on the fashion feed but I was only 50/50 and thankfully some good people agreed that was a bad idea, but they did give me alternative feeds, so i’ll take a look into those when i’m feeling a lil more up to it (damn shitty snowy weather make me feel like crap -.-) and see if THAT makes me feel better.   I just see so much great content that i’d actually like to review.. but i’m having a hard job elbowing my way back into the blogosphere, it’s bloody hard work and I don’t want to be “just another blogger”.. I have a list as long as my ARM of stuff I need to buy, but by the time I get round to it, it’ll be like a damn year old!  Which was why I started the posts on here with OLDER stuff on, maybe I should just carry on with that.. but I see pictures in various places of new and sometimes unreleased goodies and think BAH… I would give my left arm to review, yes actually REVIEW that shizzle!

BUT with that little rant out of the way, it IS the season to be jolly and i’ve decided to be just that.   I’ve decided that life is too short to get all flappy about pixels and a couple days ago I decided to sprinkle the grid with my good will, therefore forgiving (not forgetting) most wrongs done to me in this stabberific virtual world.. peace on earth and to all men and all that good stuff.   I like to live a quiet SLife, I don’t like confrontation and I like to be the person that is seen as “nice”.. (nice does not mean walkover btw -.-) sooooooooooo my pre-new-year resolution is to just let things go, i’ve let most of the shitty stuff in my SL go anyway, but i let it go some more (SHOOSH!).   Sure there are a few people i’d still like to shake like a rag doll or spork their damn eyes out with a.. well.. spork but I’ll just grit my teeth and nod politely at those people if I trundle into them on my travels.

So, merry pre-christmas and new-year everyone!  I hope to be back to scheduled non-emo happy bubble heart Willis soon, for realz!
