Moonshine Reopens!
If you know Shelly Toonie you know she’s been working her lil tush off trying to get her brand new spankin’ store on Imogen rebuilt, rejazzed and ready complete with new goodies and a fresh new look, I can happily say that it’s now OPEN and there are some great new goodies out!
Before I show you the new goods, there is a Grand Re-opening party tomorrow between 10am and 2pm SLT and during that four hour window there will be an exclusive gift! Not only that all day tomorrow gift cards will be 50% off! So… if you don’t have plans i’m sure Shelly would love to see you there!
Ok so on with the new:
First up are two dress sets! Both very sexy!
On the left you can see Cancun, shown here in Lime. Cancun is a fruity little number with polka dot meshes, glitter detailing and a sexy one shoulder dealio going on! I particularly love the skirt on Cancun, it has the regular prim style skirt with an overlay of polka dots then has an additional “frill” if you will at the top, tiered goodness ftw!
On the right is Dulcet Twist, which I think might be my fav of the releases! It’s a boho/gypsy style outfit that comes with the sexy shortish tiered skirt with lace overlay and the best bit (imo) the corset style shirt! The shirt comes with two arm attachments complete with bows for that final addition to the outfit!
Next up we have a pant set! This is the Dulcet Cross:
This outfit is available in various tones, I just picked the more neutral, as i’m a real neutral kinda chick! I really dig this outfit, it kinda meshes girl next door capris with a lil racy cross top! So as you can see you get the two tone cross top that comes with prim wrist attachments (optional of course) and you get the crosshatch style capri’s that come with lil fob leg attachments on the cuff, and you also get the double cross belt! It’s the perfect mesh between demure and racy… have a bit of both, why not?!
Finally we have the Wrap Top! Shown here in Strawberry:
The Wrap Top gives you many options with wearing, so we’ll start from left to right. You can wear the full patterned Wrap Top with the Frill/Belt attachment, you can wear all that with the boob tube style top that comes with, you can wear those with just the Sash attachment or you can just wear the boob tube top! Actually those aren’t all the ways you can wear it, of course there are more but those are just the four looks I picked!
I chose to wear the top with a casual pair of jeans, but of course you can pair them with pretty much anything you wanted!
As with all Moonshine goodies you get layer options, the prim pieces are full mod so you can get them to fit and Shelly is an awesome person so if you have any issues you will find her extremely helpful!

Before I start this blog I should say THANK YOU for Blogger Appreciation Week, in ALL honesty i’ve been capped almost every day for the last couple of weeks and my inventory is a total flood of boxes, folders, notecards, landmarks… it’s a little overwhelming to actually log in because believe me when I say it will take me months to find anything in this inventory, so if i’m a lil slow and behind with blogging for a while, you know why 
I’ve always admired 42 skins on other people but never thought they looked all that great on me, but wellllllll… maybe I was being a little hasty!

HAPPY REZDAY TO MEEEE!!!!
So, thanks to my wonderful bebe, Gus… I was reminded earlier it’s my 5th Rezday! I knew it was coming up but I also knew i’d forget it and I did! GO MEEE!!!
Anyway this isn’t going to be a long post, although I could ramble on a lot about my 5 years but all I really want to say is thank you to you guys for putting up with me for 5 years, I wanted to do a post with my noob AV but sadly (or thankfully) SL ate all my snapshots pre 2007 when I put them in a texture organiser. I still miss the old 2004 days of Club Divine, I remember the snow sims coming in and everyone rushing to see them.. I remember my first skin, my first prim hair… my first land! HAHA I went to visit that the other day, oh god I loved that 512 so hard with my freebie house and 100 prims!
I have SO many good memories that totally outweigh the bad, and that can’t be bad now, can it?
The picture I chose to add to the post actually sums up SL for me, half the time I love it to bits and think ooooooh marshmallows and fluffy bunnehs and half the time I want to stab things with lemon shaped sporks, so yup…
I’ve met some wonderful people over the last 5yrs and also some really huge asshats, but whatever the last 5 years of ups and downs, rounds and abouts has taught me, the most important thing being in SL has ever done for me is make me confront my RL issues and made me realise that everything I ever wanted was right in front of me in RL, and well, my lil unit of 2 kids and a bf (and a REALLY irritating dog) makes me very very happy and i’ve never been happier in either life recently, it’s all good!
So, I don’t know if we’ll be around another 5 years, and I know I don’t log in half as much as I used to, but each and every person i’ve ever met and who has ever touched my SLheart, thank you for being you.. you’ve made me stick it out to be able to write this.

zOMG Loco Poco Pals?!
I think it’s safe to say MOST people know what Loco Poco’s are, they are tinies reinvented in the most awesome way, they are highly customisable and gorgeous Tiny AV’s… and now… now you can have a Loco Poco Pal!
Yup, if you don’t want to actually be a tiny adorable lil thing yourself, you can now hold one. They are massively cute and I think I might love mine. They haven’t lost any quality in going from AV to Pal and they are still highly customisable as you can see from the list/pics below (I’ve stolen a bit from the notecard and added stuff, I think you’ll be able to tell ):
Fur Colours
The Poco Pal comes with many options for you to make it your own:
- Name: Change your Poco Pal’s name (you can turn this on or off)
- Hold Anim: Change the holding animation (4!)
- Gender: Change the Poco Pal’s gender (male or fem)
- Face: Change specifics of the face, eyes, nose, expression etc… (sooo many inc drunk 
)
- Fur: Change the fur colour of your Poco Pal (4!)
- Shirt: Change the style and colour of shirt and sleeves (from hoodie to v neck)
- Pants: Change the style and colour of pants and pant legs (PANTS!!!)
- Skirt: Change the style and colour of skirt (frilleh goodness!)
- Random: Randomise your Poco Pal’s appearance or clothes (random ftw)
- Reset: Reset your Poco Pal’s clothes.
- X Close: Close down the blue menu (you can also press ignore)

ADVANCED CUSTOMISATION
Your Poco Pal is completely modifyable and copyable, so if you decide to do further customisation, you’re free to do so!
Some examples:
- Applying your own textures to the clothing parts
- Linking extra clothing items to the Poco Pal
- Adding sounds or speaking gestures
- Adding your own animations (replace the existing ones)
Hold Anims
Now, isn’t that just freakin’ AWESOME?!!? I played around with mine this morning and I’m looking forward to trying the advanced customisation too!!! I did find most of my AO poses overrode the holding poses which is a major bummer, but you get that with a lot of things you have to hold, so I just turned it off and bob was yer uncle.
Clothes! :O

Pulling Strings
Pulling Strings is a neato animation store by the talented Elle Kirshner, I have to admit I have seen PS all over the feeds, but have rarely gone to see what they have, purely because I don’t really have a lot of use for poseballs or animations, I’m pretty boring!
Elle sent me a small review package in SL though, which was really sweet of her, so I squeeed a lil and opened it and squee’d a bit more then vowed i’d go visit over the long weekend and pick up some awesomesauce.
Here is just a lil collage of what you can find at Pulling Strings:
The two animations on the left are static poseballs, both seem to be shying away from the camera, which would be really useful in a paparazzi shot! I think I could find good uses for these balls *plots*. So yes, you can get Static poseballs.. orrr… if you glance over to the right there are two moving furniture poses, although YOU can’t see them moving, I can assure you they do. The top one is more of a hangover pose where you move your arms and the bottom one is a seated pose and you start rummaging for coins down the side! It’s pretty neat
Not only do you get either static or moving balls, you can also get group poses, which are the two you can see boxed up in the middle, sadly I had noone to pose with me (tears), but they look super sweet!
Pulling Strings also gives away group poses monthly and has lucky chairs and well, Elle is just one helluva generous person and seemingly works super hard to create some lovely poses of ALL varieties!!!

OMG NEW HAIR *flaps* OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGGGG. Not only are there TWO new hairs, one is a COMPLETE FREEEEBIEEEEEEEE.
Let’s look at the NON freebie first, Linda!
oh HAI sexayyyy curls/waves/messy hair, how’re YOU doin *wink*. I love Linda, o yeaaaaaah I love her. You see a lot of hairs on the grid that try to do the curls/waves/messy look, many pull it off, some don’t… Truth certainly does. It’s a shoulder length style with style and sass, I think we’ll be seeing the grid saturated with this hair, and so we should, it’s bloody nice! I dunno what more I can say but GO BUY IT!
Now, let’s move on to the TOTAL FREEEEEEEEEBIE HAIRRRRRR that is a gift from Teh Stinker himself to customers and bloggers alike for all their hard buying/work/fangirling/labias (so sorry, he has a thing about them!), this is Jess:
I’m pretty confident that Truth took this style from a hair I showed him and was like OMG I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER IF YOU MAKE IT, and OMGOGMOMGOMGOGM I love it! It’s a sorta asymmeterical bob with the bangs swept to the side and 2 lil bobby pins crossed to hold the other side in place, it’s sorta razored at the back and well.. it’s damn sexay!
I think it’s safe to say I kinda like this Truth release, like I kinda like most hair releases gridwide, I have a problem, don’t I???

Monolith – New Store in Town!
Yup, new store in town and it’s Monolith! Monolith sells a range of products for both female and male av’s and what i’m going to show here just about scratches the surface, but that’ll give you incentive go to looksy, right? Right!
First up we have some eyes! Now, I found these eyes to be big and kinda anime/cartoon like rather than the realistic type with all the bloody veins and stuffs, but that works just fine for me! They come in an array of colours and I think my particular fav is the Green. If you’re looking to go all dreamy and stuff, these eyes could well be your man.. or woman… or whatever sex you’d like to pretend eyes are.
Next up we have a variation of goodies, all listed below the actual picture:
1. Blue Striped Glasses
These are pretty much what they say… they are glasses and blue (with a side stripe you can’t actually see, but it’s there!) These remind me of older style glasses or those 3D types you can get at the cinema, coooooooool!
2. Old Scythe
An Old Scythe… c’mon how many of you would love to actually own one of these and pretend to fly around being the grim reaper? No? That’s just me? Mmmkay then. Either way it’s a pretty straightforward item, you want a scythe? Come get one!
3. Diamond Dolphin
This is actually a ring, it’s uberly detailed and is remiscent of those rings you can get out of fairground machines with it’s shiny pink look. Very girly indeed, perfect for girls.. or girly guys. As I said it’s very detailed and is an amazing piece of work, I love it!
4. Copper Necklace
This is just one of the few necklaces you can find at Monolith and it’s simplistic from a far but when you get up close and see moving textures you realise it’s a bit more intricate! It kinda looks like a locket from a distance too, I really like it, although i’m not always keen on necklaces, as I find them a pita to fit (that’s just my pet hate tho )
5. Chin Piercing
Ever wanted to get your chin pierced? WELL NOW YOU CAN, well you could before but you know what I mean. This is a claw type piercing that comes in two sizes, this, of course, is the womens size. It’s a bit too “out there” for me as a piercing, I like to stick to my small indiscreet ones but it’s cool nonetheless!
6. Diamond Twist Ring
Finally we have the Diamond Twist Ring, again it’s kinda just called what it is! It’s a twisty type silver/platinum band with many Diamonds adorning it, a beautiful band for a wedding or just for the hell of it.
So there you have some of the few goodies from Monolith, in there too you can also spot a freebie tee! WOO for freebie tees!

Stellar Designs – Destiny.
Lexi Morgan has a sim full of goodies, clothes, shapes, piercings, tats… and last but not least… skins. I love watching designers go from strength to strength, making new and exciting things, it gives me happehs, especially when the designers are such dolls, like Lexi.
Lexi has been making skins a fair while and this is just the newest to her range, but in my opinion this is one of her best and her skinmaking is just going from strength to strength.
Destiny comes in various tones, the tone i’m in is Honey and is a mid range tan, I also will show just 5 of the 8 available makeups, so if you want to check anymore out I suggest visiting and grabbing some demoage!
So ok, let’s take a look at the faces:
Now, all the skins come with or without freckle options and also with 3 eyebrow options (which you can see below). I did find that the lips on these skins were fairly pouty, and I didn’t tweak my shape to fit them, but I don’t think I look that bad! They are lusciously glossy and kissable! One of my pet hates on skins are bad nostrils, thankfully these have awesome nostrils so I can stare at my nose in peace. The eyemakeup is spot on, although the eyeliner does run a lil past the corner of the eye but I don’t think that’s an issue, it just looks kinda like cat eyes, maybe that was the plan!
I really love the freckles, they are so light and almost not there, perfect for those that just want a wee sprinkling! Now, as I said before there are 3 eyebrow options:
Auburn, Blonde and Brown. Althoug in my eyes the Blonde is actually a really light brown, but it works for me! I think that’s the option i’ll be wearing, anyhoo!

La Sylphide.. OH HAI!
Last time Stephanie Misfit released some skins, I had a bit of a squee, as you can see documented right here….
She just released some more.. SQ to the UEEEEE. There are two new releases, Katie and Poppy. Both have their differences but both are equally great, let’s see how so:
This is Katie. She’s very soft featured andvery gorgeous. The body on the skin is divine with some really awesome shading, absolutely no seams in sight and generally, it just looks yummeh! I had to fiddle with my face a bit to get these skins to look good on me, but it was no big deal and the way I look after was more than worth it! The lips on Katie are extremely soft and understated for the most part, and the eye makeup is smoulderingly wonderful! Shes a beauty i’m glad I forked out fatpack prices for, and it wasn’t even bank breaking either!
Both the new skins are $L900 for a Single or a Fatpack of 8 is available for a mere $L3000!
Next up we have Poppy, she’s my fav *swoon*. The body on Poppy is pretty much the same as Katie with it’s invisible seams and gorgeous body shading, not too much, not too little… so that makes it just about right, right?! Right. What I love most about Poppy is her GORGEOUS face. I am so in love with myself and anyone else I find wearing this skin right now, oh yes.
Just how kissable are my lips? HOW KISSABLE? I’d kiss me, I know that much. I can’t pinpoint one specific reason why I love this face so much, it’s pretty much all of it…. The kissable lips, the sexy smokey eyes, the beautiful natural nostrils (yeah I said natural nostrils!). Poppy is just plain wondeful and I hope above all hopes that Stephanie releases MORE makeups in Poppy, I really really do!

Bits and Bobs…
Newp, not the store… just bits and bobs I’ve got recently that I wanted to put out there!
Firstly we have some brand spankin’ new lashes from Carissa Crimson of Silhouette fame! Usually she concentrates on shapes, but she’s branched (or lashed! ha! I made a funneh) out to lashes. Now before you look at the pic and think WHAT?! I am teh SUCK at prim fiddling, but I can assure you they were pretty easy to fiddle with, not only that Carissa is offering a FREE prim fitting for anyone that has purchased a Silhouette shape, yay!
There are 7 sets of lashes, only 6 are shown here but the last were really kinda out there… you can see them in the store though! I think my fav of the collection were the Combed. They look stunning in pictures and very natural with the odd lash sticking out rather than being in a regimented line! YAY for realistic! They range from natural to more modelesque as you can see, so there really is a lash for everyone.
Overall I think Carissa has done a brilliant job on her first lashes and I hope i’ve faffed enough with them to do them justice in these pictures! It didn’t take long or much to get them a reasonable fit for me, which is a total bonus in lashes, imo!
Next up we have the Beauty Skins from Adam N Eve! Sachi has always been the proprietor of a fine skin store, but I usually find my face doesn’t fit them very well so i’ve always admired from afar, but Beauty is SO different! It comes in 4 tones as you can see below, my personal fav being the palest tone, I think . Although i’m on a dark skin kick at the moment, I don’t have nearly enough!
The body is just deeeelish! The toned tummy gives me happens, and the boobs aren’t totally over done in a OMG LOOK I’M ALL FAKE way, and not underdone like… pancakes slapped on the mesh, that makes them pretty ok in my book! The ass is biteable, if you’re into biting asses that is, and pretty much it’s just spot on, I couldn’t find a fault in it.
You can see two of the Beauty makeups below – Bare and Rainbow, and not onlllyyyyy do you get a choice of various yummy makeups each skin comes with or without hairbase and various other little options like mani/pedi, hair eyebrow base etc!
Finally we have some new Truth hair, does the man ever stop? Apparently not!
Hazel I and II are both the type of style I love in SL, shaggy over the eyes bangs, I find them sooooooooooooooooo sexy! Hazel II is probably my fav with a lil shaggy pony at the back, while Hazel I has the over the shoulder type pony (sorry about the nipples btw, forgot I was naked until I came to blog haha!), I love that kinda style also but I find it cuts into my poses a lot and i’m kinda anal about that, gorgeous nonetheless!
Luna is also another style that i’ve fallen in love with and it’s not often I really like a bangless hair! I find they give me a bit of a slaphead look, but how can you not love this adorable style?? It all comes together at the back of the head but looks held together loosely, like you’re about to pull it out and do that sexy shampoo ad shake all over!
Zach is the final style and is actually mens hair, although it comes in womans sizes also (yay!). It’s a smart but casual short do that I actually thinks looks better on us than the guys, so there!
That’s all for now, but I have more in store, I’m just taking my sweeeet time doing it, enjoying RL atm! <3
