SKINS! 42! SKINS!

Before I start this blog I should say THANK YOU for Blogger Appreciation Week, in ALL honesty i’ve been capped almost every day for the last couple of weeks and my inventory is a total flood of boxes, folders, notecards, landmarks… it’s a little overwhelming to actually log in because believe me when I say it will take me months to find anything in this inventory, so if i’m a lil slow and behind with blogging for a while, you know why

I’ve always admired 42 skins on other people but never thought they looked all that great on me, but wellllllll… maybe I was being a little hasty!

42 sell A LOT of skins, you’ll go to the store and be overwhelmed by choice, so this blog post is really just a teeny tiny snippet!   NSFW NAKEYWILLIS AFTER ZEE CUT:

The skins come in 4 tones ranging from darker to milky pale and I think I have to say that in this instance the palest is most definately my fav.  I used to be pale all the time, then I changed to a light tan, but this pale is just scrummy!

The body shading is lovely and soft with a really nice cleavage.   You get two hair options, I’ve chosen “shaved” but you can also get “hair” if that’s what floats your boat!   The tummy is nice and defined and the collarbone is fairly prominent as you can see.  Overall it’s a nice skin with some nice detailing that isn’t too realistic OR cartoony.

This is the most recent makeup release, I think PINK was the in colour here!  These are the Tickled Skins!

It’s a nice range of makeups with Pink as the main colour of each, you can go from a barely there pink with a glossy neutral-ish lip to a more daring full pink eye with luscious fuschia lip!   The things I love most about 42 skins are the nose and lips.   I always thought the lips were luscious and full with some really nice shading to them, and the nose… well, I have hangups on noses but this is one lush nose!   I do find the lip cleft above the lip to be a little defined, but it definately wouldn’t put me off buying a 42 skin. OH and also, the lips and eyebrows are totally moddable

Some older makeups that I really have taken a shine to also are the Fukumi!

The Fukumi makeup remind me a lil of being oriental inspired, maybe i’m completely wrong but that’s what I saw when i put them on with their eye makeups! ANYWAY before I start  going on about them they are a PICKS reward, but well worth it!    They are all pretty much neutral this time, with just a splash of colour here and there.   I really like the barely there look of them and that’s unusual for me as I don’t really “do” barely there!    Also thrown in is the Prom Night skin (bottom right) which is a gorgeous mix of pinky purpley pastels and is the perfect spring fling makeup for anyone!

So there you have it, my lil humble take on 42 skins,  it’s a store that *I* should visit more often so i’m betting it’s a shop *you* should visit more often too!!!
