Roslin and CJ have always been a pair to work hard with whatever they do and the latest “idea” was a Cocktail themed one, and OH BOY, HELLOOO PRETTY SKINS AND STUFFS.

They released 2 dresses, 6 skins and a whole cocktail bar set!  I’ll let pictures do most of the talking:

It’s SO cute, but I couldn’t take a really good picture of it with the troubles i’m having with stupid life at the moment, so I decided to opt for one that already had all the details and stole this!!    But hahaha soda syphon attack FTW!   It’s really nicely textured and a perfect addition to any house, skybox or bar that wants a bit o’ sophistication!

Next we have two very different dresses!  One is a longer, more demure style with lovely sculpted sleeve prims, a lovely scuplted bow belt and it even utilises the system skirt, for those of us that haven’t given up on that old gem yet.     It’s a beautiful satiny type material and has the biggest air of sophisticate!    The other dress is a the Cocktail Mini, it’s, of course, a Mini Skirt version of a cocktail dress.  It’s one shouldered sexiness comes in various colours, as do both dresses, all of them yummy!

My fav bit of the release though, has to be the skins.   These are the Cocktail Skins, 2 of each shown in each tone available.   You can get lighter more daytime looks alongside more evening time looks… so you can’t say there isn’t one there for you!   I love the rosy blush on the cheeks and the poutiness of the lips.   Totally gorgeous and well worth the money!

So there you have it, if there was ever a reason to just party for fun and dressing up in SL.. these are a good one!

HI!   CHAI!  Rhymes, doesn’t it?!

Launa has released some new skins for her new line!   A special edition set on a milky pale tone called Fangtasia!!  You can see from the picture below what they look like…

From left to right you can see there are three different versions in both pale and red lips.   There is just regular Fangtasia, Cry, and Fed.   All skins come with both a regular and a freckle option and a push up cleavage bra thinger!    I really really LOVE the makeups on these, perhaps cos i’m obsessing over True Blood with the rest of the world?  (Twilight more tho, DONT WORRY Twilight, I still love you!).  Anyhoooo, these babies are $L1k a pop and are worth every penny, they have tintable brows and lips also!

You might also notice i’m wearing some gorgeous new eyes!  These too are from Chai.  You get  1 pair of large pupil traditional eyes, 1 pair of small pupil traditional eyes, 1 pair of large pupil PRIM eyes (with built in soul prim), 1 pair of small pupil PRIM eyes (with built in soul prim), 1 pair of SOUL PRIMS (for use with traditional eyes).  What are these soul prims you ask?   They make your eyes SPARKLE and not in a blingy sense… see below:

This was taken in almost pitch black, as you can see… and they glow lovely like!    They also give them that extra pizazz in just low light, I love it! LOVE IT!

Aemilia Case has always been one of my favourite people, shes funny, down to earth, extremley honest and of course… TALENTED!   She makes some of the most unique hair i’ve seen in SL, plus oodles of “regular” styles too!   Well… I think she wanted/needed a change and so… FUSEMELON was born!  These goodies aren’t out yet, but I got a sneaky peek and OH HAI PRETTIES!

First up the hair you will see in this post is from FM, but is unnamed as of yet, and as you can tell there are new textures from Aems too!   They are so scrummy I could eat them all up… I haven’t taken pictures of the hair properly as I crashed and then couldn’t get back in and gave up in a huff, but consider it a teeny weeny tease

So, she made some bags!  Some really cute rucksack bags with a bottle of soda, a cute lil keyring hook that you can insert your own picture on (comes with instructions, don’t worry!) and in four different colour/theme combos!  I think Thwap is my favourite!  So cute and textured so nicely!    But I think my fav of the bags I saw were the cat/dog tote bags!  LOOK AT THEM!  Aren’t they just edible?   Awww they are adorable with their lil faces and ears and just SQUEE!

Next up we have some eyes, now i’m not going to name them ALL by name cos that would be insane.  Why is that insane? Because Aems made around a billionty!   But if you are looking for new or additional eyes, these will be your babies, they are so wonderfully detailed in some of the best colours i’ve seen around for a long assed time!

The eyes come as regular eyes, but there are also prim options and prim glow options!  You really have a lot of choice in colours AND type of eye, don’t you!  You lucky buggers

So yes, those are all available soon(ish!) including the hair you see and including the necklace you might notice below!  Too much stuff, so little time!   JUST GO AND CHECK IT OUT! (when you can >.>)

Now are some new Tuli skins!   A special goth tone with some special gothy makeups!  There are ten makeups in all and all scrummy!   There is a whole bunch of red-lipped ones, all with slighly differing dark eyes, then you have a smudged makeup one, the few colour makeups and then a sweet vamp/bite/feed/ohhai! one!

Tuli is also testing out her pushup cleavage on these skins and I think I like it!  See the two cleavage options below… I love them both, but I think I love the PU option more

Nuu meaning… Nuuna of course!    Nuuna has been making skins for a little while now, using a skin she’s pieced together and tweaked herself from the Eloh and Sezmra tempales (found here and here, respecitvely).  I’ve always loved them but never gotten around to actually blogging them *slaps self*.   However, there is a new release and here I am!

The skins are sold in sets of between4 and 6 (sometimes more!) and are $L150 a pop, which is a fantastic price for such lovely skins!   So far i’ve noticed that Nuuna has dedicated herself to making mostly “unique” style makeups, or “different” whichever word fits best, but either way I love them!

These are the makeups from V11, they are available in a lighter and a darker tone too, this one is Medium.

Aren’t they delish??   I particularly love the top left one, it’s so clean and natural looking, my second fav is the bottom right, I just love those big ole X eyes!   I love the lips on these skins, I myself have played with both the Eloh and Sezmra templates and made a few things, but nothing like this, I really should try again, Nuuna makes it look so easy and worthwhile!! I  just don’t really have much patience for designing

ANYHOOO enough about me and my attention span, below are the other new Nuuna releases, the Doll Skins!  You even get the prim eyelashes with them!  Aren’t they ADORABLE?!  I don’t quite know when i’d wear them other than photoshoots but hell, I wanted them anyways!

So!  It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from TBP and why is that?  That’s because for the last fair while they have been working on an extensive online custom Skin Creator!   Yes, I know some of you will say heyyy, well Soda does that too and yes, yes Soda does (I have many custom skins to acknowledge that )… and now there is another creator in town offering us SO many options it’s mind blowing.

The BP creator offers as a base:  4 skin tones, various eyeshadow colours and various lip colours.   That’s what you get for 1K, if you want a regular skin with no extras.    If you want extras you get the choice of:  freckles, various eyebrow options, various blushes, various beauty marks, upper body tattoos, lower body tattoos, stomach tones, various nipples, 3 variations of breast shading, various pubic hair options.   It’s a pretty extensive list let me tell you!

So how does this work?   Well you create your skin, if you’d just like a regular skin, no extras.. it will cost you $L1000.   You send off your order from the website then by either checking out, or asking for a demo before you checkout.  You then have to visit the kiosk in world and click on it to receive your demo, or pay for your skin.   The sweet thing about this is TBP have uploaded ALL variations of “basic” skins into their system, so whatever you create, if it has no extras, you will receive it immediately as you have paid!     This means you get the “Base” skin of your choice, and if you ordered custom parts, you get that too!   See below for examples, left are the base skins, right are the customs:

For both my choices I added different eyebrows, I find the base eyebrows slightly reddish, I also added freckles to both.  I doooo love me some freckles!   I added full eyeliner to both and also change the nipples, as I didn’t really dig the default ones, but really I just wanted to try out all the options!  Tattoo’s weren’t loaded at the time.. so I bypassed those.  I kinda like the stomach as is, so left that be, and I don’t want pubic hair! (Base left, Custom right below:)

I spent a good fair while flicking back and forth between the options and it loads it up for you on the site, so you can see what your skin will look like with the added options allowing you to add and take away at your leisure!

When i’d finished playing, I was pleasently surprised that my “custom” skin only came to a total of  $L1250!  I was thinking it was going to be far more than that.   Of course at that point I wasn’t aware you got the “base” skin either… so that was also a nice surprise.

The other good thing about this system is that once you’ve ordered a skin, any skin… if you return and choose the same tone, eye and lip colours the price of the skin drops to $L200.  So if you get a skin with customs, then later decide you’d like to add tats, change nippes, add pubes, add a beauty mark, change the blush… etc… it will only cost you a base $L200 then the fees of the extras you add.   I quite like that idea!  Especially if you find an eye/lip combo you love and want it with various blushes, with or without freckles etc!

I hope i’ve explained this all ok, the best thing you can do really is test it out for yourself, even if it’s just to play and get demos!   The site isn’t live yet but as soon as it is I will update this post with a link, or just do a new post saying OH HAI, ITS LIVE!

Polly and Max have put a lot of work into this and i’m glad to see more designers offering such a huge custom service like this!
