Back to Black and a few more goodies!
Back to Black starts soon, and I can tell you there are going to be some GREAT things there! Back to Black officially opens its doors on Feb 11th. The whole event is based on raising awareness for mental wellbeing, it’s not affiliated with a charity, although there will be information readily available! There are several themes including Friendship, Endurance, Family, Survival, Spirit, Strength, Serenity, Determination, Courage, Hope, Life, Home Heart, Fighter and Comfort! I don’t have confirmed location details yet, but look out for it on the link above!

Also released today was the new Elikatira hair – Abbey!
Isn’t she a beauty!! She’s mesh and comes with a colour change bow, and yes, it is an issue to click on mesh with a texture/colour change addition, but all you need to do is bring up the edit/build menu so it’s open and then right click on the hair and choose touch, and it will bring up the menu. EASY PEASY.. but to make it even easier Elika rushed to get her HUD finished and Abbey now comes with a HUD. If you don’t have it, please redeliver to yourself and get it! 
Also new is the Amaris skin from Adam & Eve! I think Sachi is doing a wonderful job with evolving her skins and with each new one I love the face more and more, Amaris is one that I am loving so far! She’s smooth, she comes with tons of options (brows, cleavage etc) and various colour variants/makeups! A really peachy looking skin that I love!

Oh my… new stuffs!
This is going to be a very picture heavy post!! Sorry… I’ll try to keep the waffle down to minimum!
First we have Briar by Aura… due for release TOMORROW, exclusively (for now) for Stumblebum! I am so so so so excited about this skin because I AM IN LOVE WITH IT! She comes in 6 tones, 5 seen here (oops blogging delete mishap… SORRY)
With each tone you get cleavage options and freckle options… the lady garden isn’t bare but has a lil patch, but that doesn’t bother me as I barely get naked, although I think Tyr is releasing a fix to that (think!). Each tone comes with 16 makeups, and they are LOVELY, I srsly just love the lip on this skin:
If the makeups weren’t enough choice, you get 6 lipstick tatts too! Each is only wearable in it’s own tone though, so you won’t be able to mix and match with other skins, as the watermark with show through. Overall I found no cons to Briar, the shading is lovely, my tummy and bum looks toned.. I don’t care about the lady garden because I don’t look at it, but you might! So demo before you buy if it bothers you!
HI. ELIKA RELEASED MESH. Yes I woke up this morning, checked plurk and saw the epic Elikagasm going on… I was lucky enough to see the hair before it was released, in the development stages and I loved it then, I love it even more now it’s on mah head!!! Two styles: Over and Locked. Over is a lovely braided style that sits nicely over the shoulder, and Over is a different look for me, with the poofy bit atop the head and the longer hair over the shoulder, but srsly excited to see what Elika does next.. and yes, there will be clothes

Dekade reopened recently and offered 2 mens and 2 womens skins! Here you can see Grace and Bridget (shown in pale and tan respectively):
I’m not entirely sure I am in love with Grace as much as Bridget, but both come with brow options and the usual other options, hair bases etc etc. They also work on a tattoo make up system, just a couple of combos from each skin shown below:

Overall the skin is lovely, the shading is just fine, but i’m not sure it’s very “me”. I do love the makeup being on tattoo layers though because SO much versatility. I think i’ll wear it around a bit, to get used to it! Go and try the demos, you might fall in love!
Wasabi Pills has released.. AGAIN! This is the Dragon mesh hair that is unisex! Just your basic longer hair style with bangs clipped to the top of the head… But I do love a good WP release
Also finally, new Truth. This is Gianna and Gianna 2. Both come with rooted/streak options so there is plenty to choose from. I am loving the shorter version (as it doesn’t cut into muh boobs). Also i’m a big fan of the streak, so these are a hit in my book too!

Always on the Move…
Gus is ALWAYS wittering on at me about setting up our house, but the truth is.. I CANNOT, you see I own a bajillion houses, and tenthousandbajillionty furnishings and every time I think, ok yeah.. I am going to go with this theme, ANOTHER thing is released and I am thrown into turmoil. AGAIN! I figured I could rez and play though, so that’s what I did with some new goodies, and I’m here to tell YOU about them, kind, I know.
There are SO many lovely goodies out for SUYS this week. I picked up the Funky Junk house which is as STEAL at $L150… I got the kitchen too, but I haven’t “installed” that yet… here is me trying to work out what i’m going to put in this room.. (click through for bigger pictures)
Oh and I’m wearing the AWESOME new clothing from RezIpsa Loc, which was released in the colour Patina for Luna’s 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge… The cowl neck sweater and leggings are both gorgeous, and I love them muchly! I’m also wearing suspenders which I think are coming soon with CUTE lil love hearts on them!!! EEE! The skirt and boots i’m wearing are from Ducknipple, I stalk their MP store daily as there is always a good promo bargain up, as well as some full priced AWESOME. Both the skirt and boots are HUD driven colour change, totallyyyy love them. The hair is new Wasabi Pills, but i’ll talk about that down there *points down*
After I wandered from room to room, actually there is only two rooms.. so as I wandered through the door way, I decided that one built in fireplace wasn’t enough to keep me toasty.. so I rezzed the Trompe Loeil SUYS offering.. this HUGE and gorgeous Lions Head Fireplace!! It’s Mesh and Texture change on click… Love love. Finally I decided that my Fucino collection needed to be out too.. it’s so cute!! You can add your own photos, which I promptly did and you can even park your butt on the table without it breaking! It’s very cute and a great addition to my new home.
Finally, a close up of the new Wasabi Pills: Kamiko. I still can’t take shadow pics with Wasabi Pills hair, the alphas hate me! I thought it was fixed, but apparently for me, it is back. I love this style, braids are a definite YES in my book and having mesh ones is just an added bonus! The skin is new Glam Affair from Dressing Room Blue too!!! Isn’t she a beaut, so vivid and gorgeous.

Hairapy!
It’s like therapy.. but with hair. I HAVE LOTS OF NEW HAIR *squees gently*. Now, I had a bit of meltdown this morning after I couldn’t find the collage option in Picnik, thankfully my plurky friends (Annie, ty!) helped me out and I learnt I was just not seeing it where it used to be, but it was still there. I don’t know how you guys blog, but I make minimal touch ups on my pictures. I usually throw them into Picnik and just collage them up for ease. I have PS and I do my Frooti store ads in that, but for an easy, and simple life… Picnik is fab. I am so sad it’s going, like really really sad. It’s being “moved” to Google+ but from what I’ve seen and the rumblings I’ve heard.. not all the faaaaabulous options will be available.
I did look at alternatives like Picassa and FotoFlex etc… and they are nice! And do a lot of nice things, but nothing will beat Picnik! 
Anyway, now that sad is over.. HAIRAPY! That’s what I needed and that’s what I got:
Truth released both Alexis and Tammy yesterday! Alexis is cutesey with her double high ponies! and Tammy is a high high high single pony. I love them both! Simple yet effective 
Exile also released new hair! 2 Regular releases (and boys hair too!) and 2 TDR releases! We have Misha, Meg, Josie and Rayanne! Misha and Meg are just LOVE LOVE LOVE. I absolutely adore them. I think Meg might just be my new staple!! With her semi windswept look, ohhhh yes. Josie is avaiable at The Dressing Room Blue and is a cute short style, and as a bonus Rayanne is a TDR style but only available at the mainstore as a special! She’s a beaut too, total fairytail type hair
Wasabi Pills released a new style too, it’s braided over the front and just a normal, long style at the back. I still can’t take pics with shadows in Wasabi Pills hair with the stupid alpha bug! GRRR! It’s gorgeous though and you should definitely check it out. Cherilyn is her name and being cute is her game!
Tyr of Aura also released a new, pre-prelease teaser of Briar!!! Isn’t she a doll?! It’s available in the tones below, and each tone comes with the lipstick options at the bottom. She is a beauty, I am so happy to see Aura skins again!
Yabusaka – Meshhhh Stuffff
OMGDIES is how I felt when I got this baby. Also, I had to choose! There is a fairy, a succubus type dealio.. and an elf!!! I chose fairy to start with but I just know i’ll be going back for the others.. but at $L1,500 a pop, I had to be choosy! It is such a steal though. You get the mesh avatar, 3 pairs of hands (point, open, fist), clothing, feet, a pg and a “corrupted” version of the avatar in 3 different skins, eyes and oh god… SO MUCH STUFF!!! You also get a HUD that you can make to use your AV smile, glow… and you can even hide bits of the mesh AV so that poses work better, although I found it fine on my posestand.
You can go and see for yourself a the Yabusaka main store for little things.. yep these AV’s are not full size!! They are not teeeeennyyy tiny, but they are about the size of your lower leg!
The dress on my Fairy is from G-Field and there is a bunch colours for it, the hair is from Wasabi Pills and is specifically made for these av’s so it’s rigged and sized for them. The dress was $L400 and I grabbed the fatpack of hair for just $L500!!!!
It’s only a quick post but I was just so in awe at the loveliness! I COULDN’T HELP IT! I do believe there are goodies coming from Pink Fuel too, which I cannot wait for!! You really do have to go and check them out, they are divine! <3 I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE!
Skintastical!
I have THREE new skins, and I couldn’t help but take pics to show you! There are two new from Curio and one from Redgrave… I’ll keep it non wordy, just look at the pics and FALL IN LOOOOVE (or not).
First have Downtown from Curio, followed by Uptown! The usual classiness from Curio that we’ve grown to expect, 6 faces with 2 makeups each. The lips are very pouty on these girls and there’s nothing too drastic make up wise, very nice and clean, light and pretty mostly! Lovely! Of course it comes with the usual options of freckles etc, and in all the tones. Shown here in Sundust and Petal <3
Now a bit of Redgrave! This is the new “Bella” skin, based on, well.. Bella from Twilight. You get a HUGE pack for just shy of $L1.5k that includes 10 skins, 6 lip tattoos, prim teeth (you can see in the top left on the first pic) or tattoo teeth, a shape (which was ummm, not my cup of tea and not reallllly that Bellaish imo) and 4 sets of eyes (all shown in the top pic) annnddd arm bracelets, and ohhh god lots of stuff! LOTS OF STUFF! I will say, the ears are not my fav ears ever on these skins, and the nose is kinda tiny, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of shape tweaking, I don’t tend to tweak my face though, I LIKE IT

Hello, Good Friday.. and all that jazz!
First off I want to say, I was going to post Q today, but we are desperately hanging on to wait for Arbel, who, hopefully, has a working PC/Laptop/PS/SL again soon! So as I said back there somewhere *points* please please PLEASE keep on with the Alphabets, we will catch up asap, and we are also partaking in the Colour Challenge again, so expect more from us on that too
But for now… ALEXAHOL! I admit, I live under a rock, I am only just getting myself back out there, SL Shopping wise and Alexahol is not a store I have seen or heard much about! I have to say i’m impressed! They have a huge range of stuff from basic staples to more elaborate party style dresses, pants to skirts, cocktail dresses to pencil shirts and even some mesh items! I am showcasing just a few items in this post, but be sure you pop on over to the Alexahol Store to check stuff out too!
From top left to bottom right here you can see: Vanity Affair Dress, Pencil Skirt, Dreamy Winter Sweater/Class Act Dress Pants and Party Girl.
Now, the Vanity Affair dress is not really the kind of dress you’d find me in, it’s wayyyy too classy You can’t see them, but there are lil bows at the front, a deep v neck plunge and well, it’s just classy, and Willis is not all that much of a classy chick . The Pencil Skirt is Mesh! It’s very basic, but it fit really reeaaallly snug and this particular colour is pleasing to the eye, no?? It is definately a basic staple one should have, oh yes. I loved pairing the Dreamy Winter Sweater and the Class Act pants together! Both again very basic goods, very well made. The sweater comes with some intricate detailing and the pants come with scuplty cuffs and looks super super comfy, considering they’re kinda posh pants and finally, my fav is the Party Girl dress, it’s pretty, it’s sparkly, it’s floofy… ITS ADORABLE!
So there you have it, a store that probably everybody knows but me. I think there is something for everyone in the store, and it’s definitely a store I’m going ot keep a beady eye on, it looks like it’s got a huge amount of potential!
You might of noticed the hairs too! Both new from Truth! Andrea and Leesa are available in store and on the MP! Andrea is the longer style and Leesa is the most ADORABLE updo, comes without a bangs version too! <3
Etheria – Painted Lady – Gooooodies
Etheria – Painted lady is now open, what is it you ask? Well if you have read my last post, you SHOULD KNOW… but i’ll recap… It is a collaboration between jewellery and clothing designers. The jewellers make their goods, and then they picked a collab partner to make a matching outfit! It has turned out pretty neato, if I do say so myself. There are 5 collabs in total (one had to drop out last minute) and I will showcase 3 here, and I might just pop back for the other 2 before it ends on Jan 8th!
Here we goooo:
First up we have the Carolines/DCNY Collaboration! Caroline made a lovely choker with an intricate link/bead dangle going on, with matching earrings… to match this lovelyness Anessa made a most lovely feathered dress! It comes in complimentary colours to the jewellery that include Black, Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby!
Next we have Dark Mouse and Lark! Mouse created the most gorgeously detailed set, including way more than i’m showing here (rings, bangles etc), it’s so gorgeous, this picture doesn’t do it an ounce of justice. To pair up with it Sienna created the Bedroom Eyes Gown.. a bustled number with various “colours” (used on the gloves and lace panel on the back of the dress). It’s simple but gorgeous.
Finally we have Miao and Somnia! I must say, this necklace is simply lovely, Kesseret did a fine job. It’s very basic but OH so detailed and the colours simply pop! To compliment it Sanura made the Christine dress in many many colours! This is the red (obvs) and the skirt and prim bust have colour change bows, for your mix and match pleasure! It’s a lovely, lovely dress.
So that’s all from me, here.. at Willowzee.. wait it’s not the news. The other pairings available are Lolapop!/Schadenfreude and Undefined Lilies/Whippet&Buck… I am hoping to go back and retrieve those items so I complete the collection! But that’s all for now.

New Mesh Hair and STUFFS!

We have decided to put a halt on the Alphabet Blog this week, with it being New Year, and Arbers PC being all broken. You guys feel free to carry on, we shall resume next week (or soon). So here, have me looking pretty instead:
This is the new hair from Wasabi Pills – Amandine. It’s SO EFFIN’ CUTE. It’s braids, with headbands and it’s mesh and I love it and I want MORE HAIR. I can not say too many times that WP are really REALLY owning the mesh hair right now, and I, for one, am stoked!!!!!
I chose to wear some lovely new Jewels from Carolines with it, you know… smooshing the cute with the classy like the adorable muppet I am … These are for Etheria.. It’s an event with the theme of “Painted Ladies of the Old West”. Caroline was invited and in turn invited Anessa Stine of DCNY to collaborate. Now I haven’t picked up the dress yet, but I have seen a picture and it is GORGEOUS. The jewellery set consists of a choker necklace with delicate beads draped from the tiniest of links. Elegant and Classy. It also comes with a pair of matching earrings. They come in Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby and Black, so you have a choice too!]

Skingasm!
Yes… SKINGASM! I have not one, not two, but THREE new skins! I AM A GIRL IN SKIN HEAVEN! So without further ado, let’s take a look!
First we have 2 new skins from Curio, the first featured is Angel, and yes, it’s a barely there skin. I’ve seen a lot of comments about how young these skins make you look, and I can see why! I’m very fresh faced, very natural looking in these. Maybe a good skin line for AV’s of a less mature in age nature, for sure. But she’s very pretty and it’s nice to see an entirely barely there range of skins for people that like that younger, clean look! As you can see there are a few subtle differences with the lips, but a majority are the splash of colours on the eyelids (that you can’t see all that well on these, sorry >.<).
Next up is Party Girl, and I have to admit, I was waiting for Party Boy to show up while I was trying them on, but alas, I was not Jackass’d . I really like this set, it’s another clean, fresh looking face, but with lots of splashes of colour this time! I love the lips on these, very full and luscious, with a bit of pearly sheen on a few. As you can see there are a few barely there styles, along with some real eye popping bright ones! I think anybody can find what they are looking for in this set, really!
Ok, now we have Linn from Glam Affair! I love GA Skins, but sometimes I wonder if I look a bit pouty, then I realise I don’t care if I do, if I like it.. it’s all good! The first picture here shows Linn’s “Clean” face, a very subtle tint to the lips, and some nice dark, but not overly caked on eyeliner for the eyes, a real nice staple.
These are the rest of the skins and as you can see there are quite the mixture of faces here! From bright fushias paired with mustard yellows to lovely bright red with super dark eyes. It’s a really interesting mix, and I admit, I can see myself wearing all of them at some point. I find the face mesmerising, pout included. Definitely one of my favourite Glam Affair releases.
This is the body on Linn, paired with the Mesh feet from Slink… I kinda like it
