More Culture Shock!
Shocking, I know.. hurrrrr hurrr.
A few more goodies today from Culture Shock, it opens TOMORROW guys, so get your purses/manpurses at the ready, you’re going to go BROKE, I know I nearly have and it’s not even open yet!!!
First up we have Funky Junks offerings. Ulaa has 3 items up at 100% donation and 1 at 50%! They are all so gorgeous! The 50% item is this lovely house, inspired by Ulaa’s RL it is nothing short of amazeballs. There is a demo up at Culture Shock, so you can wander around at will, check out all the rooms and just fall in love then purchase, ohhhh yes. It’s a gorgeous home for gorgeous people. Just 2 of the items at 100% are the little cactus/plant patio cube thinger (precise, I know) which is just the perfect addition to the built in patio area of the house, and the cute Koi Pond that comes with Koi, Frog and various poses to boot! Ulaa has really outdone herself this time and is one of the most generous donaters at Culture Shock, do not forget to check her stuff out!
Next we have a dress from Koketka! There is a flowery one and stripey one (well more than one) but I picked the one with cute daisys! I did find the resolution on the bottom of the dress a bit blurry but to be honest unless you zoom right in, it looks just fine! It’s so cute and summery that you won’t be able to resist.

Then we have another dress, this time from Mons! Soooo cute, a waist cut out really long number here, the Vintage Longdress certainly lives up to it’s name! The texturing is so pretty! Really delicate lil flowers and plenty of room for all shaped boobs, which is always a bonus!

Finally for today the stonkingly fantastic donation hair from Exile, which, might I say. I AM IN LOVE WITH!!! and a gorgeous dress from Peqe! The hair is Groove Theory and is a really high pony coming down over the shoulder into a long clasp thinger (again, good with words, me) and trust me, you will love it, the asymmetrical bangs are also win. The dress is Gyona in Floral Marine and again is so summery and the colours are just divine! A great couple of purchases for anyone, I think you’ll agree!

I think I whined mentioned in my last post that there are SO many events at the moment! All great, but it’s proving costly because I am falling in love with every sodding thing! Anyway here are a few more goodies from the Summer Beauty Festival, faMESHed and Culture Shock, and I haven’t even finished yet!
First up some goodies from the Summer Beauty Festival, my dear sissles Wizzlit posted about some goodies here too, go peruse at your leisure. Soooo:
First we have some goodies from CheLLe. Two packs out for the Festival, a lovely mask style tattoo layer, and the Henna tattoos! Both come in various colours and the mask one even comes with black out eyes (that I totally forgot to wear, but ho hum look great anyway). Lovely for a bit of masquerading about!

Elymode has 3 new packs out at the Festival! We have the Alato eyeshadows, that come in an array of colours both with and without white accenting, the Japanese Maple face paint which comes in three styles, with and without additional eyemakup and finally, my fave the Glitter Brush makeup, which also comes in a bunch of colours! Who doesn’t love a bit of glam and glitter?!

Finally for the moment from the festival, Izzies! There are the gorgeous glittery eyeshadows, only 2 of a HUGE array shown here, very subtle with some gorgeous cateye action, a great staple for any makeup lover.. and the lace mask with lip colour. The masks and lip colours are available in a range of colours and you can mix and match because the masks and lips are on different layers! AWESSSOMME.

Now we have some faMESHed and Culture Shock goodies!
First up is the new Wasabi Pills hair – Jacqueline! This is available at faMESHed and is fookin’ gorgeous. Just LOOK AT IT, oh my god it’s love. If WP ever does a hair I don’t like, I’ll eat my mesh feet!!! The top I am wearing is from Apple May and is available at Culture Shock, it’s cute and it’s mesh, what more can I say?!

Finally some new Exile, also from FaMESHed and some Baiastice from Culture Shock. The hair from Exile is another style I am in LOVE with, and there is a boys style there too, so boys, if you are reading this.. go looksy! But this is a cute braided style, with some lovely feathery bangs. Absolutely adore! The dress is the Origami Mesh Dress (with Jacket) from Baiastice, available at CS. It comes in various different colour combos, but I fell in love with the green and blue with a hint of pink! It’s so lovely, I can see I will be poor because that stall is FULL of awesome.

Oh gosh, so many events and lately! Special ones and of course the monthly rounds: Culture Shock, faMESHed, Zombiepopcorn Brand, Collabor88, Stumblebum, Summer Beauty Festival and SO much more!
I am lucky enough to be a Culture Shock Blogger, and a Summer Beauty Festival Blogger! YAY!!! I have yet to discover all the goodies, squirrelling away my money and procrastinating on what to buy, but here are a few things I picked up over at Culture Shock (which btw, is looking bloody fabulous):
First up is the Celoe June Dress! This is the colour that is selling for 100% money to charity, so it seemed like the ideal buy! It’s so gorgeous and fits the curves just beautifully!

Next up we have some Mesh offerings from Razorblade Jacket. The top is mesh, skirt is sculpt and it comes with seamed stockings and gloves! This baby comes in a variety of colours but I opted for sultry (or boring) black! Really nice pieces for a really reasonable price!

Ducknipple is up next with this full outfit. Mesh one shoulder dress, bracelet, necklace and shoes! Really adorable and we all know how much I love Ducknipple anyway , I do sometimes have issues with the sizing of DNs mesh, but I found the large on this fit perfectly with no boobage popping out!

Finally we have Undefined Lillies 100% Charity Donation item… This gorgeous necklace! The rainbow version is up for 100% donation, other colours are going for 50% (if I recall correctly, I did crash at this point >.>). It’s so beautiful and simple, but really striking. I took a close up too so you can see the cute lil dove/bird!! Love.

Store Showcase: Maai
Evelyn Hartshon of Blogging Second Life set a challenge for bloggers this week: from the list on their website, choose and write about a store that you have neither heard of nor been to before. I chose Maai, because I’d mentally picked out at least half a dozen items from just the first page of their Marketplace store.
It turns out that I cheated a little bit: once I’d spent a happy hour clicking away on the Marketplace and gathered my pretty trophies in my inventory, I realised that, gathering dust in the lamentable depths of my “Still To Be Sorted” folder, was a dress I’d fallen in love with at an event I’ve forgotten the name of a month or two back. I have decided this does not count, purely because I still hadn’t heard of the store. I am nothing if not observant.
Maai’s Marketplace store is the first place you should look, should you find their offerings as pretty as I do. There are plenty of promos available – Ziza, on the left of the picture above, comes with prim belt and mesh shoes and was on sale for an irresistible $L99. It’s hard to turn value like that down when one’s Linden balance cries itself to sleep.
The right-hand dress, Darla, is the aforementioned dust gatherer, and I think you can see what attracted me to it. I’ve seen this template used by quite a few creators, but this is one of my favourite texturings – I’m a sucker for monochrome floral. Darla comes with the same style of mesh pumps in black.
The drawback of the templates Maai used to create these dresses is that they’re only sold in one size – some faffing with sliders may be in order. I didn’t find myself needing to make any changes, but I could just be lucky. It would have been worth the effort, though.
I should probably also warn you that, when I first tried this dress on, my ladygarden was poking over the top of the plunged front… not a good look. Handily, Aura skins come with a layer for the hiding of one’s ladygarden, which soon solved that issue – fortunately before I’d paraded around any newbie sims wearing it. This is not a fault with the dress, and certainly won’t stop me wearing it, merely a cautionary tale for preserving one’s dignity.
Maai is a diverse place to shop. Above left is the Andy mesh dress, which comes in three sizes and includes the mesh belt accessory. It’s great for everyday wear and also dresses up nicely. The centre picture shows the Uma shirt and Pia shorts, both clothing layer only and pretty solid basics for your wardrobe. On the right is Ary, an entirely prim sweater that’s surprisingly easy to wear, for such a detailed piece, shown with Jenna leggings, another simple basic that will probably match half the tops in my clothing folder.
Maai has an in-world store, but I believe the promo offers are Marketplace only. I definitely recommend a peek, if only to snap up some deals.

Homage to Ducknipple!
IMO, Ducknipple is one highly underrated store. I absolutely LOVE it, I check Marketplace almost daily to see what deals are on, as beanster regularly puts things on offer, promos etc!!! Well imagine my GLEE when I logged in and found a bunch of newness!! Now, all of these following items were purchased either as outfits, or packs for just $L95 each. YEP, less than $L100 per item/pack. I’ll keep the talk minimal <3
First up were some Toecap Pumps, these are mesh and came in the colours shown below, and for less than 100L I am not complaining!! They aren’t the absolute must have best shoes in the world ever, but imo, they are great must haves:
Next up we have the Mesh Tshirt Dress! It comes in a handful of sizes, I fit into small like a glove, and you can see it comes in various textures too, very pretty for such a reasonable price:
Here are 3 outfits I picked up, on the far left we have SLX Outfit Sporty (promo) which comes with all the bits you can see, mesh pants, tank, mesh top, nipple tape, necklace and mesh shoes.. oh and sweatbands! She also threw in a “reference shape”! In the middle we have Mustage, and I know a couple ppl will like these! It comes with tank top, bra, pants and all in 5 colours too! On the right we have SLX Outfit: Cowgirl (promo), again this comes with everything you see: Jacket, Crop Top, Bra, Necklace (and mouth attachment), Belt, Mesh Skirt, Mesh Boots, Fishnets and another ref shape!
We then have a few more bits here! On the far left we have a simple Dot Tubedress, that comes in 5 colours and is your bog standard clothing and prim “crotch flap”, I loved it though! So cute, next to that we have Partypants!! Yep just regular clothing pants, but in 10 different combos, including both zebra and leopard styles! So bright and vivid! We then have Mesh Suede Boots! These aren’t mismatched, they come in pairs of the colours shown, really nice boots for just $L95 for the pair of pairs! Finally we have Mesh Tank and Jeans, this came in a pack of 5 colours!
So there you have it, some of these items are part of beansters 20.FIVE range, which is a sort of.. different store but not, but is… if you know what I mean! Unlike Ducknipple 20.FIVE uses bought templates which is why all outfits are priced so reasonably!

Fancy a Quicky??
Well, yer getting one!
I have to pop out in RL to portly persons club (don’t ask) and I wanted to blog a couple things before I left!
Ok so, new hair first off from Wasabi Pills! This mesh cutie is Shiki! She’s a ponytail in several sections and comes with clips and bands! These can, as always, be changed by HUD. It’s so pretty, I cannot EVER rave enough about how much I love WP Hair! This one is NO exception at all!
Next we have a new Glam Affair skin, well a new take on Leah. This is Contessina and is available at The Gallery Giftshop for an introductory price of just $L499! I do love the Leah skin, hard. I did find the shading on this one a lil bit pasty, but not in a bad way, just a bit paler than i’d normally go, but the blush really makes the gorgeous face stand out.
Finally the Nautical Bikini is from RezIpsa Loc! She comes in Blue and Red for A Taste of Second Life this week! Scrummy, no?

NEW EXILE HAIR!
OMGGG quick post guys but I had to do it… NEW EXILE HAIR. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
There are four new styles, one is from TDRB (The Dressing Room – Blue).. LOOK AT THE PRETTY!?
First we have In The Meantime, a simple do all over the one shoulder, a hint of windswept in this lil gem! Then we have All I Am, a most gorgeous updo that comes with hair flower AND necklace! She’s so beautiful and well executed, definitely one of my fav updos of all time! Then we have quite possibly my fav Exile mesh hair release to date! Best of You! She is stunning, a longer styler with long swept bangs over one eye, so sultry and sexy, damn.. I love me in that hair, I will love you ALL in that hair! Finally we have Dandy, a side bun updo with colour change band, and that’s the one available at TDRB!
All in all a STUNNING release, absolutely stunning.
Mmmm.. BAGUETTES!
Ok that is probably very offensive to French people, but I LOVE French Baguettes! And this months theme at C88 seems to be… frenchified things (not to be misread as frenchifried!). I picked some furniture out, and a bikini to show you, oh and a skybox.. but I was quite poor by the time I left, for sure:
First up I should say the Skybox that the pics are taken in is by Barnesworth Anubis and is the C88 offering this month, it comes with and without backdrop options and it has a beautiful skylight!! It’s a really nice item. I decided to throw some of Trompe L’oeils bits by the fireplace section. All the goods are mesh and this isn’t even half of what is on offer! You can buy couches, chairs, beach chairs, basic chairs, side tables and MORE, OR you can buy the entire lot, the whole kaboodle for just $L288!!!!! Cory makes some wonderful pieces, and these are no exception. Lovely.
Next we have some of Cheeky Pea’s items. I effin LOVE Isla and her work, it’s just.. perfection. These are just a few of the bits available in the Millesime Baignoire set you get and they are an absolute steal. The workmanship in them is flawless, the ideas are gorgeous, those rose art pics are my new favourite thing in SL, no joking!!!
Finally we have new hair from Wasabi Pills! This is Coco and she’s fookin adorbs. She is mesh and comes with the usual options of regular size and boob size too! With the deep swept bangs and soft, light razored look, this is now a new hair fav of mine too! SO MANY NEW FAVS TODAY!!! The bikini you can see in all the pics is the Boom item from C88 and is available in many colours!
I’m wearing the new Leauge Jen skin and that is about that! TP to Collabor88 and Wasabi Pills… RIGHT NOW!

I had to blog it, because… it’s simply stunning. The new and awaited skin – Jen from League… is now out! I hopped online as soon as I saw ppl flapping over it and I won’t lie, I fatpacked. I rarely fatpack these days but I did. So there. There are various options to choose from starting with Individual Skins and working up to Fatpacks of 8, and finally a full Fatpack of 16, the 16 also includes “bonus lip colours” which are tattoo layers of ALL the lips on skins included, and matte versions too, so essentially you can mix and match the eyemakeups with any of the 16 lips.
I probably could of just done with getting a couple, and then finding lip/eye makeup layers to put on but I couldn’t resist!
You get all the goodies you’d expect to get.. pubic area tattoos, breast de/enhancers from A through to E in “cup” size, hairbases, brows, freckles and even prim nail glove layers.. for those that wear prim gloves. I, of course, being a greedy guts as I said earlier fatpacked, because I truly cannot stop drooling at my face.
Here you can see first fatpack A, then fatpack B.. so all 16 makeups available! There is a variety of tones to choose from, and you should demo, of course! <3
Bear Necessities!
Tyr Rozenblum and Ivy Graves have teamed up on a new venture called [A] Limited, offering joint creations in limited numbers. Willis and I have been in the starting position at the door for most of today, waiting for the off, just in case we missed out on these scrumptious bear hoodies. Never have I felt so adorable.

If you’re a member of the Atomic [VIP] group, you can already make your way over – and the hoodie I’m wearing on the right is a free gift available to group members while the store is group access only.
If you’re not, you can still choose your hoodie, from such a variety of colours I had to be brought a paper bag to breathe into (I’m hopeless with choice, I wanted them all), from midnight tonight. There are also skins, bobble hats, tops and bags, and only 500 of each will be sold.
