When ‘iron’ came up as a colour, Arbel suggested we all dress up in armour and look deadly and gorgeous all at the same time. She did a wonderful job of it, unlike me, who didn’t own any armour and had to resort to a dress that looks a bit chain mail-like and a sword I begged from a friend. I did better than Willis, though, who isn’t wearing ANY ARMOUR AT ALL. Naughty. She has a banana avatar but no shield?

Here we go again: Weeks of Colour has returned, and once gain the three of us have been reduced to staring at our inventories, wondering how in the name of all things prim Luna manages to pick colours that don’t exist. It’s true, she does. Seriously.

WoC: Five Colours, Fifteen Colours, ALL THE COLOURS
The last challenge for the Weeks of Colour group was to make a collage of our favourite 15 outfits from all the ones we’ve put together over the last year. As there are three of us, however, we weren’t quite sure how to make that work without posting 45 pictures or arguing until next Christmas (and no doubt giving up and dressing as bits of fruit instead) so, instead, we are very pleased indeed to bring you… something entirely different that doesn’t meet the challenge at all. Ta da!
As Arbs and I were late to the party, we didn’t get to create looks for the first few colours – so here they are now. Ten new colours to round out our challenge, and Willis will be following up shortly with her pick of our five best looks. If that sodding banana picture is in there, we’re going to be having words.
It’s iffy logic, we know, but you do get 15 different looks, ten of them new, and we have now (pretty much) finished the 52 Weeks of Colour challenge, so I’m going to forgive us on all of your behalves, k?

52 WoC – Melon, Apricot & Jazzberry
I apologise in advance, but I shall be blogging these three colours out of their intended order (as well as very late. Not that this will surprise anyone – we’re a bunch of Tail End Charlies and no mistaking). I have good reason for this: as I was putting the pictures together, I noticed that, despite two of us taking the pictures at the same time, and all of us working from the same colour palettes, we appear to have suffered from increasing levels of confusion.
First, we have Jazzberry. No real problems here, aside from the usual disagreement over colour interpretation, and some slight background issues.
Next up, Apricot, and here the problems began. Willis and I were having trouble telling the difference between Melon and Apricot… and thus, though Arbel managed to get the background correct, despite taking her pictures at a completely different time, my background colour is entirely different to Willis’s.
And finally, Melon, which is frankly a knickerbocker glory of shades. The pictures Willis sent over of my outfits were the wrong way round and I’m not 100% convinced, even now, that I’ve got hers correct. Apparently, if it ain’t from opposite sides of the colour wheel, we can’t tell the difference. Pretty though, right? What can I say: we’re cute, not that bright.

Hello! Sorry for the delay, once again!
With lemon being such a fun color, we sort of let our personas shine through, and not by dressing up as lemons, though very tempted. Me, I am Grungy Lemon. Wizzlit, Scholar Lemon. And Willis, well…she deemed herself Whore Lemon. I can’t see why.
Patriarch, for me, is such a rich and regal color, the color of royalty. So how appropriate for us to dress up as…nothing that I just described.
Our looks are hot though, we are ready to go out…to different places.
