fri.day on a Saturday!
Just a quick post from me today as it’s the WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKEND and I feel like vegging out on the sofa! fri.day released new hair and another new dress. WWEEEE TO THE WOOOO!
There is a new hair — Summer and a new dress — Spring.Bloom. The hair is a simple classic chignon/bun style, nothing too fancy or flash, just a hair that matches the new dress perfectly. The dress, I think, might be a new fav of mine simply because the sculpts are MEGA AWESOME and by butt didn’t even need making smaller! Trust me, I have a lot of junk in that trunk, so I was a VERY happy camper!
I’ve shown the dress in just two of the six (I think :s) colour duo’s available, I particularly love that there is a grayed version along with the spring coloured versions! They are a mere $L200 each or you can get the 24.7 pack for $L840. The colour combinations are lovely, but I found the yellow/pink one to be the best, the one that caught my eye the most! Perhaps because of my obsession with all things citrus! Although it’s a darker yellow, more mustardy.. ok now i’m waffling on about colours.

Truth released hair today and there was a FANTASTIC rush yesterday, as the Chalice style was the SLDD, but sadly by the time i’d made it to the sim, managed to buy the hair and buggered off home again, it was time for this OAP to head to bed, so I never did manage to blog it! Well, today I shall!

Four new hairs, One boy (or uni!) and three girly ones! YAY! I can’t say much about Ben, other than I think i’d like to see a yummy guy in it, rather than me 
But I couldn’t be arsed to get my man gear on, so i’m afraid, I just plopped it on my head . My fav of the releases is definately Milla, she’s a gorgeous longer, wavy style with the hair pinned to the back of the head with cute lil pins (that you can’t see… sorry! ha!). Chalice is the style that you missed out on yesterday if you were slow and not one of the 500 (or 5million that tried) that got it for $L450 for the SLDD! And finally, Elysium. I’m not a big fan of styles that show a lot of forehead, mainly cos it makes me want to lean over and slap my own forehead the way you used to do to others at school and that brings baaaaaaaaad flashbacks, it’s a lovely, well executed style for sure, just not one I think i’d pick to wear often out of personal choice!
I didn’t want to just blog hair today, so I’ve thrown in a LOTD too.
Not much to say about it really, it’s kinda like what i’m wearing today, lounging about at home… except my tee has skulls and hearts on it and my jeans aren’t ripped (much). I didn’t put shoes on cos well, I don’t do shoes in either life if I can help it, it’s just one of those quirky things! LOL! My fav bit of the outfit aside from the new hair has to be the Ugly Duck Skin, I popped along there a few days back and had a skingasm and must NOT GO BACK AND BUY ANY MORE!

Exile – New Hair!
Weee, more new hair! WEEEE!
Exile have just released three new styles, all in the new yummy scrummy textures that I showcased last week on the blog, I totally love them! TOTALLY!
Odette | Lucia | Cassie
The three new styles are lovely, Odette is a semi half up do, you can’t see the the hair that is scraped back forms a lil pony at the back of the head! Lucia is a more swept look, with the hair swept to one side, and small colour change flowers above the left ear, totally a tropical swimsuit type picture to be taken in this one and finally Cassie.. a regular longer style with a few waves here and a few wisps there.
Three totally different styles all in the radical new textures that Kavar spent ages working on, and they sure have done him proud! 
Also worn in the picture above is one of the new skins from L.Fauna! I sooo wanted to pick up the fatpack but I just have to stop myself from going nuts, or i’ll never afford anything again, so I just picked the one I liked the best, the Morphine Make-up! The dress is an upcoming release from Arbers and her brand spankin’ new store – Fringe! More about that when I know the official release date is coming up

This is the Sweet.Heart dress in Emerald and Citrine, available in more and the Miley hair. I love the sculpting on the dress and the overall feel of it, very nice, soft and feminine and the Miley hair is simpley adorable with it’s pony/knot type style over to the side!
I’m sorry if the pics aren’t top notch, I was testing out the new Emerald Build and I don’t think it’s working properly for me again! BOO!

I’m in a skinny and hairy situation…
No, I don’t mean i’m skinny and hairy, I am neither! (sadly and fortunately, in that order!). I mean I have skins and new hair! WOOOT!
Firstly let’s take a look at the skins, they are the newest skins from Rockberry – Luan!
I’ve always been a huge Rockberry fan, right from day one, and I hold many in my inventory, many! Luan has a beautiful face, and a bootiful body to match, although I did find on the darker tones the shading on the arms was a bit harsh for my liking, and i’m unsure whether i’d wear the darker/freckled skins, but on a whole I am very very happy with them! I say this everytime, and I mean it; I don’t go zooming in and out in all the nooks and crannys, purely because I don’t really care much for showing much flesh most of the time, so i’m not that fussed, so this may be some kind of shite review, but it’s my own, honest one.

Glitterati and Exile!
Helloooooo ratfans!
Today I bring you.. FIRE… no I don’t really, I bring you some poses and some new textures!
The poses are from Glitterati and are the boooooooooooomb. They are myspace/facebook/social networking type poses, where you use your cam and do the funky chicken.. or something like that. We’ve ALL done it, don’t lie!
There are 10 different poses, but two of the poses have optional gang sign hands, so really you get 12 for the price of 10! Apparently Katey made a bathroom to go with too, but that isn’t on sale yet, maybe we can convince her?! WOOT!
Kavar from Exile has been UBER busy and has been retexturing all the older styles he plans to keep with his brand new, awesometastic textures. I’ve asked his permission to put up the photo of the entire set of new textures, as I don’t want to spoil any surprises he might be planning, but in the meantime, here is one of them! I shall update the post, or post again when he’s said yay or nay.

fri.day – New Stuffs!
New goodies at fri.day! Seriously cute too!
Two new hairs, a pair of low-rise Jeans and the cutest sweater type thingermajig!
Let’s start with the outfit, shall we?! I love love love the new sweater! It comes with prim sleeves, prim low cut neck and prim buckles and it fitted the new shape I made with minimal adjustments, which is AWESOME, cos I hate clothes that don’t fit, it makes me cranky in the pants. It came in an array of what i’d call “darker” colours, nothing overly bright, but I opted for black, cos i’m emo like that (don’t shoot me lovers of black, I kid!).
Of course I couldn’t leave the store without buying the new Low Rise Jeans, even though I own a billionty pairs (it’s time to part with those 2004 ones I guess!), these came in a handful of colours too and as you can see come with two different prim legs: Flare and Skinny with both heels and flats versions of both! I love me some lowrise, I think it’s cos I can get away with them in SL, unlike RL
Finally the hairs! At the top with optional prim colour change flower is Marie. A just below shoulder length style and the bottom style is Carrie, a ponytail with some sideswept bangs.
Both hairs are gorgeous, as ever, but I particularly love Marie, esp with the flower… which I can also wear with any other hair, so that’s a double plus!

Surf Shack Hair and New Exodi!
Just a quicky, being driven insane by small children with large mouths
There are a few new hairs from Surf Shack in town! I just picked one, Pam! She’s loooovely and with her wee willie winkie style bobble hat, well… it was instant love! INSTANT!
I bought the blondes pack and was highly impressed with the textures, not to mention the absolutely stunning sculpty work, right down to the shadows on the hat, which by the way is colour change on click! You get two styles of hair in each colour, one with bangs and one without, I gotta say I think I prefer the with, don’t you?
The skin i’m wearing is also new.. soon! It’s the exclusive Group Gift from Exodi and is a sneak peak at the newest girl on the block, Stephanie. It comes in several tones, all named after some of Ryker’s best pals and I think you can all agree that I look kinda cute in it! This isn’t a review of it, as I literally logged in, got the hair, took pics and logged out. Be rest assured come release day you’ll see reviews everywhere!

I humped a day too late :(
This post was supposed to be out yesterday, but I fail bigtime and had a lot of RL to do! So i’m hyping about humpday… a day late. I sorry!
It does, however, mean there are added bits to it, so woo for that! Firstly let’s get on with what I was supposed to do yesterday, shall we? I think we should!
Adam and Eve had great humpday swag, and other Valentines stuff to boot! The bag pictured was the $L69 object, but the dress, skin AND shoes are available at a mega reasonable price too!

The shoes are adorable with their little dangly heart at the back, and such a vibrant, gorgeous shade of red! The dress, is simple but effective, cut into a perfect “showing of yer boobies but not too much” type of neckline, with a miniskirt to match, lightly decorated in a Valentines pattern. You can see the skin is rad just by looking and of course then there is the bag. A sculpted bit of perfection might SOUND too much, but it’s true! I envy people who can work sculpties like you wouldn’t imagine, so this, to me, is a masterpiece and a really pretty one!
Also thrown in there in todays post are the new Cupid Skins from Curio and the new hair from the master of hair, Truth!
Skins are available as singles for $L1k or discounted fatpacks at just $L3k, hence the fatpack buyage! As usual they come with both light and dark versions, and both versions come with freckled or non freckled versions too, A LOT of versions! There are 2 packs. Cupid 1 and 2 and see them in all their glory below (well the faces anyway). CUTE OR WHAT!

There’s the curly cutie, Kirsty, the flowery fineness of Berry and the perky Peta! I particularly love Berry, aptly named after the gorgeous Strawberry Singh, it comes with a colour change flower (it isn’t invisible but WHO CARES, it’s goigeous). Of course Kirsty and Peta hold a place in my heart too, because a) I love the curly/messiness of Kirsty and I am a growing fan of short hair on Willis, so Peta is full of win too!

Haaaaaaaapppeh Friday!
I’ll be honest, I just needed to blog, i’m up to my elbows (almost literally) in poo, not mine.. smallest childs. FUN TIMES. So while she’s busy creating another stink whilst watching Fifi, I thought i’d hop on quickly, do 50LF and then bugger off again. I’ll apologise right now too for lack of detailed… well details. But I’m sure you’ll all get over it, it’s just a quickie today!
Truth released new hair yesterday, and we all know how many fangirls he has.. I guess i’m just another one, in love with his gorgeous hair, stinky or not!
Caroline | Danielle | Lulu | Sage
Four again, it’s the lucky number! We have Caroline, Danielle, Lulu and Sage. Both Caroline and Danielle have cute clips, Caroline just outweighing Danielle in the cute factor by having HEART shapes on her clips, fancypants! Lulu is the messy updo of the bunch and Sage is the all to one side plus a braid equals cuteness squared style. I think my fav has to be Danielle this week, she doesn’t have the heart clips, but the key to my heart is the longer, over the eye bangs… so everyone hush while me and D get it on in the corner, thanks.
The skin shown in all the pics is 50L Valentine Special from Rockberry! It comes in 4 tones, with just the makeup above, I haven’t poked around in the genitals etc, but I looooove the face on me! It’s a whole new skinline and i’m now looking forward to it!
