Day 18 of 365 – It’s a Grey Affair!
Today is SNOWMAGGEDON! (thanks Quint), so I have gone with greys, blacks and whites as my main colours!
So, as soon as I saw this hair on the marketplace, I had to have it. No questions asked. My only regret is I didn’t fatpack it but that can be rectified! The CaTwA hair comes complete with attached hoodie/shrug and you can buy and add on HUD that will texturing it differently, you can choose to texture different parts of it too, for example my cuffs and hood hem are textured with a grey fur, the rest of the hoodie/shrug, just a regular grey. You can choose from all sorts of options including animal print, plain prints and random ones! Also worn are the new DRIFT City Pants in Onyx. These are long, flared pants with a front crease that look great either casual or fancypants, I am not wearing shoes with these, but they are the type of pants that fall over the foot and look like they are sweeping the floor. Classy and cute! The top I am wearing underneath is a top from Intrepid and is a basic long sleeved, v-neck tank that I paired with some of Ducknipples mesh armwarmers!
My skin is an old Zodiac skin from Essences, Caprice and my eyes are from A:S:S and they come with tear prims and tattoos, not worn in this picture tho. I also put on my Jamman Mesh Rigged Nails and found they’d been updated to V2 which includes more options and stuff, yayyyy!
I’m out to enjoy the snow for a bit BAI!

The Key to my Heart…
… well that isn’t up for grabs! BUT… this gorgeous Key Necklace from Lassitude & Ennui is!
Jackal made this stunning piece of mesh work for the newest round of Zodiac, held on the Mint Tulip sim! It comes in a variety of colours, I opted for the Silver/Red (the red is the gem in the centre). This is SUCH a gorgeous necklace, and I know quite a few ppl that are suckers for anything Necklace related, so I imagine this is a huge hit! The craftmanship is phenomenal and it’s a wonderful addition to a great Zodiac round!
My skin, which I have grown rather partial to, is from Al Vulo and was the Limited Bazzar item! I am not sure if there are any left, but I know that I am glad I got one! Soooo pretty, and hauntingly beautiful and pale! I thought the A:S:S “Tears in your Eyes” set would look great with this, and I was right. It comes with Tear tattoos and you can probably click through to the bigger picture to see a better picture of those! Finally, I needed a dress and some hair, I could think of NO better hair than the Teeloh hair from Wasabi Pills to obtain the look I was going for, and the stunning mesh “Cry Baby” dress from Schadenfreude for Collabor88 in this striking Blood Orange colour! To top the look off nicely I finished with the Mandala Mesh Ears, which had a gorgeous orange metal and stone to match my freshly squeezed look!

It’s SCORPIO time!
A bit like Rico time, only like… 400000% better. Hottie Cooterati’s Zodiac event starts it’s newest round today with Scorpio! As you can imagine there are a fair few “Scorpion” inspired bits and bobs, as well as mucho other gorgeous items. Here are just a couple to start coverage of Zodiac off on What *IS* Willis Talkin’ About?!
This gorgeous necklace is from A:S:S and is called, aptly: Serket’s Servant. It comes in Black and White and also with and without sting, as soon as I saw teasers for it I knew I had to have it! It’s that little bit different, but a whole lot of sexy! It goes perfectly with the new Alice Project Hair that is going to be available there: Steph! This is Steph II, obviously you have probably worked out there is a Steph I! This version is sans bangs, and it’s a beautiful flowing style, that comes in various sizes (it’s mesh) and it’s an infinity style, so works with any HUDs you have that run on Infinity system or any you might want to go and buy!
The pose I am in, which you can’t really see all that well, but I can ASSURE you is awesome, is part of one of the two sets that aDORKable has out for the event, it’s from the Provocative Pack, which includes 6 (plus mirror) sexy poses in a variety of lying down and kneeling positions (Gus.. NO -.-).
The skin is Izzie’s FUYU Skin from the Costume Ball that I blogged yesterday and the eyes are are part of a set from Delusions that are at Zodiac also! The set of eyes comes with various colours included, and includes prim parts! (mesh, prim, whatever!… EYEBALLS PPL).

CHIC² – Birthday Goodies!
Chic is 2. TWO! Can you believe it! So many great events crammed into just TWO years!! I do have *Frooti poses out there, and am honoured to be a part of it, and here are just a few of the things i’ve poked and prodded at during preview… and there is SO much more to buy AND more to be set up! I CAN’T WAIT! Its a mish mash of stuffs, you know how I love a mish and a mash and squish and sqoosh!
What Next do some of the best furniture and props I’ve ever seen in SL, one of my fav stores, by far. For CHIC² they have this gorgeous patio set, it comes in 3 (if I remember correctly) colours and is so adorable!!! A lovely lattice table, matching chairs all with various poses including male and female, and a cute lil tray with vase and goodies on it! As soon as i’ve chosen my final final final FINAL house (Ulaa, Isla, stop building things kkthx) it’s going out and STAYING OUT.
Next we have a swimsuit from Sn@tch and 3 skins from YS & YS! The swimsuit is available in pastels and is the epitome of cute with its polkadot bows! Of course, as usual with all Sn@tch goodies you get a whole handful of colours in the pack! Totally adorable. The skins from YS & YS are three different skins, one pale, one tan and one a bit more tan than tan! All three of them come with the three makeups shown, as well as various other tattoo based goodies! YS & YS skins always look so fresh and beautiful, I particularly dig the paler tones!
Next we have the most chic but still cute dress from Izzies! I love Izzies, it’s one of those stores that does a lil bit of everything. I was hoping for a skin (I am greedy) to be out at CHIC², but instead we get this divine dress! Available in many colours, it’s not mesh but it does come with a regular sculpt skirt, and a resizeable one and it’s just eatable! I love it! I really wanted to show off the Trompe Loeil Topiaries while I was blogging but I couldn’t find a great shot to take, so I figured i’d flank myself with them 
. They come in pack of various shapes, all resizeable and you click on them to change from light to dark texture! Adorbs isn’t the word.
A:S:S is one of those stores that I admire, it’s never run of the mill, but i’m never quite sure I can pull any of the creations off, but… I decided to give this one a go. It’s a headpiece and mouthpiece.. and yes, it’s a spider avec web, with a lovely jewelled body! Its definitely not your every day wear, but it’s definitely a MUST wear at some point!!! I paired with with Al Vulo skin and took the shot. I kinda love it.
Finally, a picture that I am really proud of, despite it being simple. It’s to showcase the gorgeous diamanté blindfold from Je Suis and the absolutely stunning hair from Burley. The blindfold is a simple, yet powerful piece. The diamonds are the perfect touch to something a lil taboo. The hair from Burley I was disappointed didn’t come in packs (that I saw.. yet), but I dropped the money for the fatpack anyway because I loved it. It comes in two pieces, and it’s mesh. The braid is rigged so is non mod, but the top hairpiece is resizeable so you can get that perfect fit!

Hi, that was my dumb take on hello up there, I know, fire me, it’s ok … Lots of new hair out over the last few days, here is what I have rounded up in my couple hours I had online this weekend to GET ALL TEH THINGS… and failing miserably, oh and I must add, the skin I am wearing is Izzies Delusional Skin that is available at the Skin Showcase right now!! It’s so BEAUTIFUL I could cry! The eyes are also new, and were the Lazy Sunday Mesh offering from A:S:S… They come with a resize hud which is great, LOVE THEM!
First up Exile released this style for the My Attic event, and it’s so pretty! It’s a mesh style called Secret Summer, and it’s only available until the 31st, so make sure you run and get it now!
Wasabi Pills released both the Anais and Lola Summer hair very recently. Anais is the Zombie Popcorn Brand hair for this rotation (also available in store though) and is a braided wonder! It is SO pretty I could cry, like really. The Lola Summer hair is also braided, with a colour change headscarf! Very pretty indeed, both of them!
Elika released a new number called Return! Also mesh and it comes with a HUD to be able to change the bobby pin colour. Such a lovely, summery, boho style loose pony with the bangs held back by the pins, I imagine if I could be bothered to do much with my hair in RL, I would love something like this!
And finally 3 styles from Truth (group gift also available, but not shown). These are Jodie, Tashia and Roma. Jodie is a lovely mesh over the shoulder style simple long hair number, Tashia is possibly my fav from Truth in the mesh stakes yet with her larger than life quiff and wavy longness (it’s a word, shup) and Roma comes in 2 styles shown, with and without bangs, and she’s not a meshy girl!
